Mazur hasn't been a Center anywhere, he is listed as LW at Eliteprospects and is playing as LW, as those lineup chart shows. And with my eye-ball-test he played as RW for USA U20.

And still some site will list him as C.

Pathetic.

If they don't know the real positions, just put a damn F, instead of misleading C.

i'd just like to take this moment to congratulate D+3 3rd rounder Carter Mazur for having as many points as his 7th round pick teammate and almost as many as his undrafted teammate 7 games into the college season

Why is it that people get punished by moderators for calling certain people out, and yet people like Ricky are allowed to continue to be shit-posters when it’s clear they are doing it as trolls and nothing more than that?

Mazur’s start is extremely encouraging to watch. Berggren spent his D+1 and D+2 seasons fighting significant injuries while recording 2 goals in 40 SHL games before exploding in his healthy D+3 year, with people on this board hyping him up to be a potential high end playmaker (which is optimistic, but warranted excitement). Mazur is following up his breakout “D+2” season with continued success, leading the NCAA in goals early in the season. But I guess we have to still diminish what he’s accomplished to this point.

Lol one hot and ready plate of crow coming your way. Dont act like people were saying he was anywhere close to McDavid to make you look less bad. Hes got as many goals as his next 4 or 5 teammates combined.

All you had to do was let him play some hockey and see how he did before you had a hissy fit, now he looks like an extremely solid prospect and is outplaying his draft spot and youre doubling down. Its cringey

I'm banking on Edvinsson being a 25minute PK1/PP2 minute eater. 30ish points. Rock solid defensively (that's what I want Simon to focus on). Basically the perfect #2 defenseman. If he drifts further into the Hedman realm I'd be beyond thrilled.

Or really, whichever one between Simon and Mo are better suited for the PP that's who I want on PP1. Then the other is the PK1/PP2 guy. Must stop PKs both on the ice, but beyond that I want them split to maximize their deployment.

I mean, Seabrook is not much less of a moron. He just had a #1 to play with, unlike Nurse. My floor for Simon has typically been post-Florida Jay Bouwmeester. Great skating, solid defensively, minute eater. Then slide that scale up to a Hedman/Larry Robinson Norris-winning HOFer.

I was hoping for the longest time we could snag Bouwmeester to help bridge the gap between Lidstrom and whoever was going to be next (looking like Mo and Simon now) once it became fully apparent that it wasn't going to be Kronwall.

I think Edvinsson is going to be better, but a low/medium projection of him is definitely in the "good player who can look like a moron at times" territory.
