If you look at Cossa from a pure numbers and success standpoint. He's completely on track for a "normal" goalie development curve. I'll be worried when he's 23-24 and still the same goaltender.
There's literally nothing to worry about re:Cossa. He's very young at a position that usually takes a long while to develop. A goalies Sv% is also a very noisy stat, given how good or bad a team's defense effects the quality of shots a goalie will see. Just give him time, everybody raves about his character and work ethic.

I'm not @ing you, just the general concern around him by some Red Wings fans.

I follow the Bulldogs as well. Go to some games. I am shocked Logan Morrison went undrafted. He's ufa now but I guess nobody wants him. I don't get it.

I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with Sammy Walker from U of Minnesota. Yzerman drafted him in Tampa but he isn't signing there. We need center prospects and I imagine walker didn't see a way forward with the young centers in Tampa. But maybe he just wants to sign with the Wild and be close to home. We'll see.

Yet it is, to some.

Little playoff highlight for Cossa. For those who know goltending, how does a goalie become better with their rebound control? From my untrained eye it seemed like Cossa gave up a lot of juicy rebounds. It also looks like he over commits at times which leaves a wide open net if a rebound ever came out.

I don't know exactly WHEN the bottom will drop out in Boston...

... But when it does, it's gonna be UGLY.
Starts this year and will be even more, next year, when Bergeron retires for sure. It's basically just Bergeron (if he signs), Hall (LOL) and Pasta until after Christmas when they will start to get some players back. Might be too late by then unless Ullmark/Swayman have a Vezina-esque season. But without a full defense corps, and half of your best players out for 3 months minimum...that will be rough.

I'll shit my pants if the Bruins finish 11th in the league with all their missing players this year and win the lottery. It's the Taylor Hall effect.

for easy reference, thanks to fabric details

I don't know if I agree but I defer to y'all.

I mean is that still counting Seider and Raymond or something?

3 is where I had us projected so I'm cool with that. just hate to see the tank teams NJ, Minn, Mtl etc. benefit from tanking. F@CK NJ!

can't wait til Seiderot crunches J.Hughes.

I think so

interesting that among the top 12 ranked, 4 are in our division & 3 in E.Conf....then 12-20 is All Western Conf. teams. 21-32 has another 3 in division + 4 in E.Conf.

BOS/NYI/PIT/OTT/WSH are all bottom 5, they're gonna be fighting/tanking together.

FLA/NYR/TB 21-26.

cbj/nj/buf/mtl are the 4 EC teams that are in the top8 that we should "be worried" about + Phi/Tor/Car round out top12. None of the 1-8 EC teams scare me, not now, nor the forseeable future. Mgmt. on those teams are often a hinderance to their own team.

any prospects list that has the Sabres 25th in Goalies is not a list worth taking seriously

this is a team with two of the best college Goalies that just drafted another Goalie in the 2nd round this year to boot and then also has another former 2nd round Goalie on top of that in Luukkonen who hasn't been great in the AHL but had a good 9 NHL games this year

Calgary has a really good goalie prospect too (Wolf), and they are ranked #16.

Seems like this guy doesn't want to rank goalies highly that weren't drafted in the first 1-2 rounds, regardless of if they have had a lot of success or not.

Whether it is this or the NHLe stuff he puts out, something just doesn't seem to add up for me. (Although I think he does make some really nice looking graphics, and am sure he puts a lot of work into his data.)

What about the Cossa LOWlights? We need to better gauge what level of bust he is.
:sarcasm:

Did I hear that right, from the latest Word on Woodward, that Edvinsson is NOT playing in the WJC in a couple of weeks?
