what's your top 5 prospect list looking like heading into the draft?

that kid soderblom is a total beast. wings will be cruising past the bruins pretty soon.
I'd guess the top 5 are:

Edvinsson
----------------
Berggren
Johansson
Soderblom
-----------------
Either Wallinder or Andreasson

Here's a bunch:

Most people top prospect list starts with the greatest potential talent. Although Elmer maybe a dynamic unicorn, he still comes no where near the talent level of Edvinsson.

Will we sign Cotton, Eliasson or Kivenmaki?

Probably just Cotton. No use taking a swing on the other two. Cotton actually got a main camp invite, this past year, so I would assume he at least gets a show-me ELC.

Eliasson didn't even get a win, this past year with like an .850 save %

Kivenmaki regressed this past year and hasn't made any development progress since we drafted him.

I would like them to sign both Cotton and Kivenmaki.

Cotton and Kivenmaki are unlikely to be able to crack Grand Rapids. I sincerely doubt any of the three has a legit shot at even a cup of coffee in the NHL. There's also a limit to the number of contracts NHL teams can give out. I would rather we use them on guys that might have a chance.

We are not even near of any contract limits. When that day comes, then the team will be a contender.

Kivenmäki will never be anything anyways, too damaged goods after deadly hits/multiple concussions. Has lacked development and is not that promising player anymore. Will have a good Liiga career I think.

Cotton should be signed, and put to Toledo at least.

The Wings are at 29/50 contracts. They have lots of room.

Edmonton starts the WHL Finals Friday against Seattle. Nothing is for certain but it feels like Edmonton is going to roll.

I think it’s important to see Cossa in the Memorial
Cup, even if it’s a small sample size. A good showing there could springboard him into the #1 spot for the WJC (I’m assuming he is one of the guys that returns).

I’m not sure Cossa is eligible for any of the two WJCs in august and next January. He is an 02 birth year, for sure he isn’t eligible for januarys. I’m not sure about the august one

Looks like the Oil Kings are getting 5 home games this series. Games 1,2,5,6,7 are all scheduled for Edmonton. Arena availability issues (?) in Seattle have put Game 6 in Edmonton but with Seattle acting as the home team.

Oil Kings definitely in a good spot.

Does Tyutyayev need a new contract? I know it was a 1 year AHL contract, but I’m not sure with him being injured for most of the season.
