I have been super impressed with Jans's use of his stick. Great puck-handler, and has great stick discipline in butterfly saves. He seems to make a desperation save like this every week.
Next round in the WHL playoffs: Cossa vs Savoie, Geekie, Lambos...
2 dominant teams. Should be great.
Looking for info on players who made their NHL debut last season. Can anyone here tell me a bit about Chase Pearson like what role he played last season, what type of player he is and what his future outlook could be? Thanks!!
4th line NHLer, top 6 AHL are best case scenariosLooking for info on players who made their NHL debut last season. Can anyone here tell me a bit about Chase Pearson like what role he played last season, what type of player he is and what his future outlook could be? Thanks!!
I'd much rather give Pearson a shot over Stephens and these Rowney projects we seem to do every year
And Stephens does nothing for me ,its all fine and dandy yzerman knows these guys from his Tb guys but we should be giving our own guys looksI’ll take Stephens over Pearson. Pearson does absolutely nothing for me.
Rowney on the other hand was a completely pointless signing in my eyes. His role should have gone to Smith or Pearson from the start.

One's someone we drafted and developed and the other isn't . I'd rather give someone in our system a lookPearson and Stephens are the same age, weird to call one a project and not the other.
One skates well and one will never skate at an NHL average level. One's someone we drafted and developed and the other isn't . I'd rather give someone in our system a look
Ditto on Stephen'sOne skates well and one will never skate at an NHL average level.
I don’t care where they come from, Pearson is behind the 8 ball at this point, and he doesn’t have much going for him.
I’ll take a fourth line center that won’t lose every race for a loose puck the way that Pearson will.Ditto on Stephen's

Considering that Stephens is probably around for 1 more year and Pearson likely never makes the NHL, this discussion is extremely irrelevant.
Did Cossa concede all those goals? Hmmm. Hopefully this is just an off night for him.Winnipeg wins Game 2 5-1... Series Tied at 1... Next 3 Games all in Edmonton
This is a pattern that keeps happening. He plays a great match, then the next one he is shocking. There is no consistency.Did Cossa concede all those goals? Hmmm. Hopefully this is just an off night for him.

Winnipeg is the top team in the WHL that comfortably out scored every team in the league. Powered by two top 10/top15 picks in the upcoming draft in Savoie and Geekie, and recent first round pick Carson Lambos. with a couple of overagers in their final year of juniors eligibility.
This is not just a challenge, but Edmonton is the underdog. Cossa is likely going to get left out to dry, and crooked numbers will go up because of it.
That is just it. Cossa was never tested in the previous series because their team was so much better than the opposition.
Now we get to see what Cossa is really made of when faced with better teams and players the same type he will encounter in the NHL. I hope he doesn't get exposed.
These are a few of the goals
No chance
Awful break off the block (No Chance)
This was called a goal lol
