Looking for info on players who made their NHL debut last season. Can anyone here tell me a bit about Chase Pearson like what role he played last season, what type of player he is and what his future outlook could be? Thanks!!

He’s a depth forward at best, and his future outlook is hoping to have an NHL career. More of a long term AHL guy at this point

I’ll take Stephens over Pearson. Pearson does absolutely nothing for me.

Rowney on the other hand was a completely pointless signing in my eyes. His role should have gone to Smith or Pearson from the start.
And Stephens does nothing for me ,its all fine and dandy yzerman knows these guys from his Tb guys but we should be giving our own guys looks

At the end of the day they're both 4th line guys who won't be here next season or the one after

Game 1 between between the 2 WHL Eastern Conference Powerhouses goes to Edmonton 5-4 in OT (on the road in Winnipeg)... Cossa with 22 Saves

The Oil Kings were up 4-1 after 2 and then Edmonton's D fell apart and left Sebastian out to dry a little.

9-0 1.75 GAA .921 SV% 3 SO... Game 2 tomorrow at 8 PM

One's someone we drafted and developed and the other isn't . I'd rather give someone in our system a look
One skates well and one will never skate at an NHL average level.

I don’t care where they come from, Pearson is behind the 8 ball at this point, and he doesn’t have much going for him.

Ditto on Stephen's
I’ll take a fourth line center that won’t lose every race for a loose puck the way that Pearson will.

Considering that Stephens is probably around for 1 more year and Pearson likely never makes the NHL, this discussion is extremely irrelevant.

Yes and you know all that from his 2 nhl games and 10 minutes ice time

If Stephen's stays its cause yzerman traded for him and will give him another shot and he'll fail like erne and be in Europe by 2024

This discussion is extremely pointless you got one thing right

This is a pattern that keeps happening. He plays a great match, then the next one he is shocking. There is no consistency.

Winnipeg is the top team in the WHL that comfortably out scored every team in the league. Powered by two top 10/top15 picks in the upcoming draft in Savoie and Geekie, and recent first round pick Carson Lambos. with a couple of overagers in their final year of juniors eligibility.

This is not just a challenge, but Edmonton is the underdog. Cossa is likely going to get left out to dry, and crooked numbers will go up because of it.

That is just it. Cossa was never tested in the previous series because their team was so much better than the opposition.

Now we get to see what Cossa is really made of when faced with better teams and players the same type he will encounter in the NHL. I hope he doesn't get exposed.

Well you just hope that Yzerman puts a competent defense in front of him. A high powered juniors offense against any juniors defense is going to have a field day
