The whole cap just doesn't magically disappear if he's waived

His whole cap doesn’t disappear but his cap hit is manageable. Only a portion would be on the cap. The rest would not count towards the cap. The leafs are rich enough to pay Murray his actual salary and have him down in the minors. The leafs have done this before with a number of players in the past.

Jake Gardiner game 7 against Boston! lol

One game versus continuous suckage.

Sure Gardiner was a giveaway machine in game 7 vs boston

but Holl has continued his dumbassness from last regular season; then Game 6 OT stupid play, then Game 7 stupid interference, to this season boneheaded plays and the coach think Holl is the 2nd coming of bobby orr. Playing him with his offensive players. Go Figure....

i don't think I've ever been annoyed by a Leaf more than Holl. That includes freakin Clarkson, Komisarek, Kubina, Johnny Malkin, and Blowzak

I have a soft spot for Bozak. For a kid coming out of university as a FA he was a good soldier in few very bad teams
He was asked to be #1 center when he should have been 3rd in any team

Also, he can't hear you. Stanly Cup winner Bozak

Holl on the ice for a goal against.

Schenn on the ice for zero goals against.

Expected anything means absolutely f*** all with what actually happens.

It's what actually happened vs what could've happened in an alternative universe.

He has a pretty good goal% and plays heavy defensive minutes... that's real.

And then over a 2M hit for nothing the year after when we have our tightest cap crunch. Can't wait to see that roster.

It’s better to just bury him in the minors for the year, save $1,125,000 on the cap and cut your losses. Buying him out would be dumb.

He'd cost approx 3.5M against the cap if he was playing for the Marlies
