Uhhh he is hurt. WTF is your problem with him?
He's out recovering from "bumps and bruises". That's exactly what you'd expect to hear based on how he shuts down this time of the year and becomes useless relative to his regular season form and what we need to win.

That's 100% a genuine issue to have with him.

It's literally a rest day just due to playing lol

Honestly, after a great 3 months, Nylander is playing like a 'tweener.

He's stuck somewhere between a top 6 and bottom 6 player at this point.

Kerfoot is what he is - a glorified 3rd line player who can skate, but doesn't do anything else.

Nylander has so much more, but he's decided not to give any of it.

The guy looks terrible out there.

Dion Phaneuf in his final days as a Leaf looked like he was skating on cement
He couldn't move or do anything. He was so slow
Couldn't skate backwards and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with his shot

Detroit goalie got totally lucky there
Everyone knows Wayne Simmonds scores from that off angle shot every time

Murray will not return.

Does he have a prior history of being injury prone? I don't really get the concern
Murray just went down and Sammy has been hurt this year and was just dealing with something not long ago.

If they're both down then you're looking at a 3rd string rookie goalie down the stretch. That could be concerning.

These games are such a slog as a viewer, I can't even imagine how it must be for the players.

Just fast forward to Game 1.

Say what??? They're obviously gonna rest players the rest of the season.

You ask anyone about MIchael Nylander and they'll tell you he was by far the one of most talented Swedish player to come early 90s
All the tools, all the skills but lacked interest
Apple doesn't fall far from tree

Michael was far more talented than William
a lot of NHLers were like this. Nedved and Kovalev

Always stuck on 3rd gear with glimpses of 6th

If you actually watched games, you would realize the stupid minutes he plays. Even low 20 minutes has him on for some shifts for over 3 minutes. Maybe you should watch a bit more hockey before you criticize

I get that, but he's fine now
