Just my opinion but on any shot from inside the blue line, most of the time goalies have to hope it hits them . 64 feet from the blue line to the goal line( the goalie is usually about 3 feet in front of it). Puck travels 85 -90 miles per hour. Compare it to pitching in baseball, the mound is 60’6” from the plate. If the catcher doesn’t know the location of the pitch it’s a passed ball most of the time. Goalies reflexes are not magically faster than catchers.

I didn't see the third goal but the first two were similar: fast,.weird release knuckleballs. Not horrible goals per se. How many goals has Matthews.scored thzt didn't look impressive but the goalie can't pick it up? He made Carey Price look befuddled many times.

Worse, when both of these goals were with speed on broken, open ice plays. Both releases quicker than anticipated.

That will purely depend on how Sammy plays in playoffs. To me as of today he's not a 4m dollar goalie. He has had a decent season but he's also very inconsistent. Inconsistency for goalies is not something you want to tie yourself up with. We did that with Campbell or Reimer

If that's your standard there are only 5 goalies in the league that live up to that criteria. Goalies are wildly inconsistent year to year.

Post TDL we can carry as many players as we want there is no limit of 23 man roster; only thing that has to be respected is cap space
