he just needs 5 more points to hit 100. I think he can do that in 3 games or so and then he can rest up a bit.

What’s with this shhhhh talk about the Leafs not playing for anything ???

2nd overall is huge especially if somehow Bruins lose in the 1st round

We giveaway so many goals for free on the defensive side

We giveaway so many goals by Phuqquery playing on the offensive side

We giveaway so many goals and games by bad coaching

This all adds up to possibly 5 game swing and home ice

Enough is enough

Murray is cruising for a buyout - and honestly good. He looked decent in the early season but is pretty much a guaranteed OTL at best now. We have a perfectly fine young goalie prospect who needs games to develop, where is he at?

Dubas will offer Holl 4x3.5 and we will be sad.

Why is Mitch sitting, is he injured? If not then here’s an idea…don’t make him PK every single night.

On the plus side game is still young, Detroit is porous and Nedeljkovic isn’t a good goalie.

Where do I send my application into MLSE?

I was really hoping to get a vet backup. I mentioned that during trade deadline, that our point of failure really is in our goaltending
This is when Murry was in LTIR

We really should have gotten some depth in someone like Quick. Who could have been a mentor to Sammy if needed

Some of our fools will do that. Bunting. Simmy, Lafferty and Acciari. We will try to take him out. A suspension is also coming. But its worth ot. Classic hockey and tactique. Now we have the souljas again too sire :clap: been a while

rather LTIR him instead of buying him out. We need cap space. His buyout is going to bite us on the ass with a cap crunch when both nylander and matthews need contracts and tavares and marner are still on the cap with 11 AAV

That will purely depend on how Sammy plays in playoffs. To me as of today he's not a 4m dollar goalie. He has had a decent season but he's also very inconsistent. Inconsistency for goalies is not something you want to tie yourself up with. We did that with Campbell or Reimer

I think the safe move was to outbid Yzerman for Husso, then give him 3 years. Get Samsonov.

That gives you a Samsonov/Husso tandem for less than 7 millions. Solid.

That Murray trade was just a catastrophe. You can't afford to have unreliable/injury prone goalies when your team is in its contending window.
