Samsonov has never proven anything in the playoffs... Murray is toast but he had the experience.

I think too the Murray experiment is over, they'll need to find a way to dump that contract this summer.

That has nothing to do with coaching. Sammy should be able play back to back nights. That used to be the norm for starters

No he won’t. Dubas will just waive him if he has to. Leafs are rich enough to pay the real money on his contract. But I don’t see anyway that Murray is on this team next season

and if you judge D based on just %, you are not going to do well.

We agree that Murray is done. He was done already when Dubas traded for him and his contract that still run another year. Big, big failure.

Samsonov had a good year, but he does not have the pedigree in the playoffs.

If he gets injured, well... That's Woll.

Just my opinion but on any shot from inside the blue line, most of the time goalies have to hope it hits them . 64 feet from the blue line to the goal line( the goalie is usually about 3 feet in front of it). Puck travels 85 -90 miles per hour. Compare it to pitching in baseball, the mound is 60’6” from the plate. If the catcher doesn’t know the location of the pitch it’s a passed ball most of the time. Goalies reflexes are not magically faster than catchers.
