Well he did make the deal for Wright? How did he remain in town after that?

That was one player who was, consensus, struggling a bit to find his game, along with the rights to a player, plus 2nd, 3rd, two 4ths, 6th, and conditional 5th/6th. It was not that difficult to swallow.
A few thoughts...
- Windsor's had multiple games where they should have won, but lost. Today was one they should have lost, but won. Take the two points.
- A respectable start and I call it that because, despite being up 5-0, they only had 10 shots or something in the first. Bender and the Flint D were poor, which was a big help.
- The Greentree, Protas, Belchetz line was solid. A combined 3G/6A, hard to complain about that.
- I believe every line had at a least one point; that depth is showing again. Nice opening goal from Garden. Lemieux had a great game, too.
- Costanzo was his normal rock-solid self.
- They lacked energy in the second and third; sluggish, not making the passes, not getting pucks on the goal. It was the little things that added up to Flint taking advantage.
- Greentree with another tilt, a rather good one at that. He now has two (2) on the season.
- Call this an "escape" but one that comes with two points.
- Windsor now has a 20-point lead on Saginaw for the division.
As for the deadline... not a ton of talk about it beyond what we've seen here. Niagara might be one team to think about but I'm not sure to what extent. Paquette was brought up from Guelph; would fit the mold. The prices sound high and not sure Bowler's willing.
