Well I'd certainly bet against the Spits scoring 11 without Greentree getting a goal. Spellacy extra ice paid off big time. Zito unbelievable way to shake off rust that wasn't there. Glad we took care of a soft goalie tonight. Our turn for a change.
Some defenceman were soft and didn't help goalie out much either.

quite the turn around from the last home game, didn't expect that offensive output.
nice to see Zito have a great first game, he looked good considering he hasn't played.
AJ looked great tonight also, this is the type of player I think we were all hoping for at the beginning of the season, he was flying everywhere, hopefully with all the extra ice time he will get will boost his confidence, his penalty shot was a pure snipe, Abraham gets off to a great start to the game with the 2 goals but unfortunately like many others times falls victim to his undisciplined play.

You must be a really big Spellacy fan, then.
I like him, yeah. Good speed, hands need to catch up. Respect his hustle and physicality just needs to be a little smarter given his size. Props to him on the 5point night and Hatty.

Crazy to think Zito wasn’t going to play this season. He looked great!
Announcers mentioned he was doing construction while he was reevaluating his hockey career.

I think he’s got a solid AHL career ahead of him. Great way to show back up in Windsor!

I’m sure Abraham is due for a suspension, hopefully Davis, Martin or Outwater is ready to go soon

Father owns a big company in Ottawa I believe, so he may just be better off with that

Ok so lol. This is why i called for BB head! This team has talent and is fully capable even down a few guys. If it wasnt for the brutal start to the year where is this team?? BB isnt responsible for guys being on the pro radar, the players are! They plsy the game!
Now tonight… defence is still rather brutal, Smith is just outright lazy or disinterested, few others had some of it at times as well. Id wonder what the score is if referring didnt ruin the game’s momentum. Horrible job by that crew! The wows, there was some serious jump in their game tonight for the most part, great to see a regroup for the third and get back at it. That can be tough to do! Zito was unreal, have to wonder if he brought some zing this week. Spells looked right where id hoped he’d be all year. Lots of good tonight. D still needs serious work but we were down arguably our #1 guy. Focus could tighten up a bit, you cant take any seconds off, last goal showed that.
Impressive effort overall, i need to see that regularly now.

The beauty of the OHL, sometimes you see some crazy things. Down 6 regulars against the Wolves and score 11.

Congrats to Spellacy on the best game of his career. No clue why someone is on here chirping the kid. He has all the skills needed, just needs to put it all together and he could be a beast in this league. His skating is strong, he has a nice shot, he hits. He's starting to take the puck to the middle of the ice more instead of always driving wide. This game was good for his draft stock. He will have plenty of ice time the rest of the season.

Zito... wow, first game all season and he puts up 5 points. Interesting he wasn't playing hockey anywhere and was thinking of quitting, he's good enough to play pro somewhere. Cristoforo haters can't be happy after this one. Nesbitt is starting to look better. I assume Outwater is out for at least a month, but any word on how long Davis will be out?

There are certain people that like going on these boards anonymously and bully teenagers.

Some thoughts on tonight...

- If you told me pre-game that they'd score 11 goals using 11F and 7D, with a handful of regulars out of the lineup, I'd have laughed... hard.
- Up and down the lineup, I don't think anyone had a bad game. The bottom guys were minus-2 but darn near everyone contributed in some fashion. Even guys like Lavigne, Struthers, and Morgan played well in limited action.
- Spellacy with the best game of his career so far. He was flying, hitting, and a five-point night. I don't expec that every game but it's nice to know that he has it in him.
- Greentree with a pair of assists but I like how he immediately complimented everyone else in the post-game.
- Abraham with another big game; he's really finding his stride and, as long as he can stay out of the box, he'll be set.
- Zito, Zito, Zito... the kid is going to be a beast once he gets back into the full flow. He's driven, he's passionate for the game, and he wants to be here. You can't ask for much more.
- Cristoforo with an assist and a plus-5. Mmmhmmm.
- Let's just hope that Abraham isn't out for too long with the SlewFoot... or Davis is healthy by Thursday.
- Never been a huge fan of Monette or Hutchison, let alone together. It is what it is, I guess.

Shore up the D this week and get ready for next weekend. I don't expect 11 goals every game but this kind of energy and compete will bring them a long way.

IMHO…..One of our best games this season. Spellacy’s best. This will go a long way to making him into a good player. Confidence builder. Best game for most of our players. I thought Smith in particular had a very good game and if he continues to play like he did last night he has a pro career in his future. Zito was obviously not in game shape but knew where play, his legs forced him to conserve his energy at times but he will really help this team. A great addition by BB. The D had its problems at times but all in all seems to be getting better. Costanzo had a good game for the most part. Coaching was good and in particular called a time out at the right spot in the third and the team regrouped and saved the game. The team played more aggressively for the most part and the key was they didn’t give up when things weren’t going their way. Effort A+.
