Good to see 5 players on the list. Wouldn't be surprised to see Woodall get on that list before the end of the season, or possibly get drafted in the last round.

If they have 5 guys drafted, add another drafted player in the Import Draft and suddenly you have 6 NHL draft players on next year's team.

What about Sanvido? Or was he 18? And yes he was traded as well.

Sanvido was captain in 2014-15 in his third season. He's in the same boat as Maggio, Cuylle, Renaud, Ott, and Mahon... going back to the late 90s, at least. All third-season guys.

I know Torres has really liked Woodall's game over the last month-and-a-half.

As Stated, it was the Correct decision. This was the worst spitfires season in almost 20 years and the Only Player that came thru on a game to game basis for this team was Greentree, he made the decision himself. Before the season not one person including myself would have thought Greentree as our next Captain but he came in this season and came to play and take over, He put this team on his back emotionally and on the ice with his play. Abraham has done his time here and its appriciated but he is not this team's leader, half the time he looks pissed off out there and takes stupid penalties. Greentree just goes out there and does his job calm and composed. Hope he is here the next 2 seasons after this one atleast. Congrats to Liam, make Windsor Proud!!

Doesnt need to be said but this team needs to pick up the win tonight. 30 Games left and the spits got to get atleast 35-40 of the 60 possible points to sneak into the 8th slot. Its a long shot but Fingers crossed this team comes together and starts playing better hockey as a team, play for the logo on your chest and not the name on the back, play the right way and good things will happen.

Excited for Zito to play. Hope he comes out swinging for the fences. Think he will be as productive as Peer and hopefully responsible defensively for us. Expecting Costanzo in the net tonight, hopefully Donoso is good for Joey and pushes him the rest of this season and helps with some things for next season.

Tonight Cant be worse then Wednesday Shellacking, So hopefully that was a good Slap in the face Because its Time to put this thing into 4th gear. No more half assed efforts. Play OHL calibre hockey.

Go Spits Go!!

I'm going to give Zito some rope here, has not played in 9 months. I'm assuming 4th line minutes to get him started and maybe some pp time if they get a pp.
Not sure they will make the playoffs with Flint looking stronger now but it is what it is. Just want them to be at least in the game and not lay down if they fall behind. Sudbury is a good team so will be tough to get points in this one .
Looking forward to seeing DeAngelis tonight, was real tough to see him leave the way he did. Be safe.

With the opposition playing the nite before and traveling, Windsor must have a edge right...

Saggy forward Hay….suspended for two games as a result of actions on Jan. 10th at Windsor.
Hay was a doucher in Flint and it’s continued in Saginaw. There’s something about a smaller agitator like Giroux and Abraham that I find okay and useful. Also helps those guys have abilities to rack up up points. Never been a fan of Hay, and don’t like him going after Davis. Didn’t think it was a dirty fight, but it felt to me like Hay instigated and then pounded on a quite a bit smaller rookie.

Hay won the fight. If it was over the Sapovaliv hit, kind of dumb. Eichler didn’t do anything dirty. IMO. Glad Sapovaliv is okay, he’s a quality player on a great team. Even before this incident, Hay was one of the few pieces on Saginaw, I don’t think highly of. They have assembled a great squad, and I’m rooting for em in a long run and the Mem cup

I appreciate what Abraham brings to the team but Greentree has been the clear choice all season, outside of maybe Christopoulos and Peer. He leads on the ice, shows maturity off the ice, and seems to be the guy in charge. Abraham could easily get an A, along with a few others, but this was the right move.
Agreed. I think Maillet would’ve been a fair choice as well. A well liked and respected player (from what I hear) across the league.

I’d much rather have a player that’s young, who’s leading the team in scoring, that constantly creates momentum and fires up the team, over a pity “he’s a vet” captain that gets a C simply for service time.

I like Abraham. The C doesn’t fit his role, and he’s been injury prone his OHL career.

Spellacy, Christoforo wearing A’s. First time for Spellacy?

Abraham’s slewfoot didn’t look dangerous, but just an unnecessary play battling for positioning. He’s the other A tonight.

Great effort so far. Wouldn’t count Sudbury out, but the young crew is stepping up. I feel like it was a formality to let the 06’ crew know, we’re going all in on them.

Quite a period Zito looks mid season forrm. Abraham great start until stupid penalty. 6 goals by the Spits. Who said we traded all our offensive production lol.
Looking at Colton on the first line before this one… I almost said if the Wolves score 4, were done for
