And you only get it when it happens to your team ;) Hockey people get it on both sides of a fence ;)

Funny ya didn't mention the disparity in PPs as when it slants against Windsor u always post that. Hhhmmmmm.
You always post it wasn't even u less it favours Windsor then it's ok?
"Hockey people" aka people that will only agree with you.

not going to lie, it is frustrating watching Sarnia and London get to beat up on Guelph and Owen Sound who only have 3 drafted players. The Spitifre's reward for being the #1 seed is a Kitchener team with 6 NHL picks and two more about to be drafted in this summer's draft. Just bad luck on the seeding. If Kitcher didn't blow a 5-2 lead with 3 mins left to Flint last weekend, we'd be playing OS instead.
Also incredible bad luck with all the injuries and now two of the oddest suspensions.

With all that said, I am confident in tonight's game. Thursday was the worst game they have played on home ice in years, no joke. Didn't deserve to win. Despite that, they were within striking distance and hit about 5 posts. Will need Maggio to be a lot better in this one.

Sell out crowd, need the players to approach this like they are facing elimination. Really need De'Angelis back, if not there is going to be a lot of scoring chances with Jodoin getting some much ice time. Kitcher has a stacked roster but finished 8th for a reason. They played a perfect game on Thursday, but I don't expect them to be quite as perfect in this one.

Spitfires are going to need to score 6 goals to win this game assuming D'Angelis is out.

The big key to this game is a strong start. Need to score the first goal of the game. Go Spits.
How about giving the Rangers some credit instead of crying in your beer

Not much different from game 1. We have zero sustained pressure. PP non-existent, not even close to being a threat. Effort by a few but not as a team. If they didn't dig deep to start this game I don't know where it will magically appear. Lose tonight you need 4 of next 5 and that is unlikely.

Can someone at the game ask the camera operator to follow the play? We saw more line changes than the puck that period.
Part of the reason I cross the border so much to watch the games. Broadcasts are almost as bad as the Spits have been this week.

How many draft picks did we give up for this?

It looks like one team is hungry and feisty for an OHL championship where the other one’s looking forward to a long summer.

Well.....The only way to best explain the 1st period would be a wet fart in a fan....with horrible camera work!!

??? I said they have 6 NHL picks. They’re a lot better than OS and Guelph was the point of my post …

Sorry but I also thought your recurring point was the Spits got the short end of the stick by finishing 1st. It's table setting instead of accepting a challenge and acknowledging the better team thru 4 periods. Lots of time for it to swing in this game. Spits are capable of that.

Following the league closely for 20 plus years and loosely previously, draft picks are great and all, but not the best measuring stick for grading a team's potential effectiveness in the POs JMO.

It took till the end of 4 periods to show some emotion. Time to play like were in a f'ing series here!!! No walk over game or series this is the best junior league in the world. Do your jobs and play your best.

Go Spits
I’ll take the loss and some suspensions if it means someone out there appears to give a flying… frog.

Wrights playing hard. Kitchener is shutting down Maggio. Harrison is looking like the most expensive waste of a rental we’ve seen in a decade.

Believe those giveaways were on Peer and Maillet. They’re doing too much. Put pucks on net. Costantini is MID

Poorly called game so far, in favor of the spits. Stop giving us power plays. Bad things happen. Gimme 4 on 4 lol

Well i have shut this game off. Onuska is in and this game is all but over, potentially the series If onuska starts game 3. Sorry but I have been instilled zero confidence in Onuska this season. He is not an OHL calibre goalie. I am just hoping this is some kind of wake up call for these players. WAKE UP!!

I get a weird feeling in this one. Like a, this could be the last home game of the year weird.

2-0 lead going into Kitchener for the Rangers?

I have no faith in Onuska, and I blame Costanzo for nothing tonight. I can’t even blame the D. It’s the offense coughing the puck up, and then a PP goal.

Not much to say, a pathetic performance. Kitchener does not miss on chances.

When it comes to the goals, 80% of Kitchener goals have been due to giveaways . They haven’t dominated the o zone .

This team is completely off. They were not ready to commit to playoff hockey so far. We can blame the refs now for giving us powerplays. 3 short handed goals in 2 games???? Can't even blame our poor defense when the offense is non-existent. Dust off the clubs and wait for warmer weather. I don't see a turnaround anytime soon. Wright interview said there is no compete in this team. Accurate assessment.

Costanzo career playoff GAA 4.96
Onuska 2.77
Who gives a flying F about his playoff stats last playoffs lol Onuska isnt good period, wasn't last season and still isnt this season. Sum it up however you want too haha, statistics dont lie. He got carried by Wyatt and crew last playoffs period!! Medina had just as good of stats no? check it out if I'm wrong. This team is different this season and not as well rounded as last season. This year is the same team in front of Both goalies and Costanzo has been far superior this year while 3 years younger.

Costanzo (snip) while 3 years younger.
Yes, Costanzo is young. I am going with my vet in game 3. He's come up big in this position before. No doubt the young goalie is going to have a great OHL career ahead of him, but it's too much pressure on him right now.
