It's not like DeBoer has some kind of secret formula to beat the Avs. All teams run the same system to slow the Avs down. For some reason DeBoer seems to get to the Avs at the right time with the right people out.

This won't prevent the forecheck on our defense.

We'll see if our dmen can skate with the puck or not. If they can't it doesn't really matter who plays D on the Stars.

Bednar has one game plan and it involves the defense skating with the puck. If they can't do it everything collapses.

Hopefully you're right but in the past it looked like the Avs were skating in quicksand when it happened. They didn't know where to go and skated themselves to exhaustion.

I’m OK with this.

In truth, I’m OK with any permutation of those 4 wings on two lines, with the exception of Nichushkin-Lehkonen on the same line. Two good players, but they just don’t seem to mesh well together.

Sure those three had something to do with it. Especially losing Nuke. It killed their moral. It was very obvious they had no fight in them in that game. They picked it up in the other games after that but it was still obvious the loss cost them a lot. Georgiev was not that great also although he wasn't the reason we lost.

I said before that if DeBoers beat Bednar while finally facing adversity I'll be the first to say he has his number. Until then let's see how he does with the roster he is handed this time around.

That's opening night of the playoffs for the Avs." She says, "Well, if you want to cancel, you can call and tell them you want to blow them off to watch a hockey game. We won't be able to meet up with them again until the middle of June."

I guess the good news is dinner is at 5, and the game won't start till almost 7. So, hopefully, I don't miss more than a period, if any of it.

Its either to throw Dallas off by practicing wrong combinations and changing at the morning skate to real one or there is a gameplan to counter what Dallas has to try beat them better.

It's because you know Drouin will get hurt at some point. And knowing the Avs another top 6 winger will get hurt as well.
