Every team has injuries.
Next man up.
Should you have to mention injuries so often..
lol are you a Spitfires fan or do you hope they lose? It's always "Windsor gets another lucky break." After Moreanu's suspension, you wrote that exact line.

And no , not every team has injuries. Sarnia has had a full lineup for 3 months straight. Kitchener has zero injuries or anyone out of the lineup. The Spitfires have 5 regulars out of the lineup including 2 of their top 4 d-man, it totally has a big effect on the game and results.

Hockey people get it,regarding the potential effect or outcome, they do make a difference especially if 2 evenly matched teams go at it and 1 team is missing 20% of their lineup and the other zero, its a factor not an excuse and sometimes a major factor or problem not be washed over.
Rigid, non hockey people waste of time talking to.

not going to lie, it is frustrating watching Sarnia and London get to beat up on Guelph and Owen Sound who only have 3 drafted players. The Spitifre's reward for being the #1 seed is a Kitchener team with 6 NHL picks and two more about to be drafted in this summer's draft. Just bad luck on the seeding. If Kitcher didn't blow a 5-2 lead with 3 mins left to Flint last weekend, we'd be playing OS instead.
Also incredible bad luck with all the injuries and now two of the oddest suspensions.

With all that said, I am confident in tonight's game. Thursday was the worst game they have played on home ice in years, no joke. Didn't deserve to win. Despite that, they were within striking distance and hit about 5 posts. Will need Maggio to be a lot better in this one.

Sell out crowd, need the players to approach this like they are facing elimination. Really need De'Angelis back, if not there is going to be a lot of scoring chances with Jodoin getting some much ice time. Kitcher has a stacked roster but finished 8th for a reason. They played a perfect game on Thursday, but I don't expect them to be quite as perfect in this one.

Spitfires are going to need to score 6 goals to win this game assuming D'Angelis is out.

The big key to this game is a strong start. Need to score the first goal of the game. Go Spits.
DeAngelis will be back tonight. I was wrong when I said game #3 return. He's dressing tonight.

Not most teams talk about it all the time though...

a. You don't know that.

b. When your team is literally injured every week since December, it's going to come up in regular discussion. You don't have to like it but...

Heard game time decision. Hope he is back.
That would be a huge help. Hopefull he's healthy enough and not just "I'm going to play regardless."

All I can say is expect him in the lineup.

Pretty sure many of the London posters on here did not feel that way about our team last year. Knights were one dimensional and Kitchener sut that line down. I was surprised it went 7. I wasn't surprised the Rangers won.

And we could add legendary factors such as a top G in the league ( probly top ) was playing injured and a top 2 D was out ;) But most didn't mention it every post.
KTown won n deserved/earned it. End of story IMO. They were better.

Sometimes a tp of the cap is appropriate instead of excuses

As an aside.....Very few posters here are excuse makers. Most are solid, aware and fair. So let's not paint the board based on a poster or 2 that can't admit a L without including excuses for a 10 year period.

The whole idea that "injuries shouldn't play a factor" seems odd to me. You take out two of your top four dmen out for a game, that's going to affect how the game goes. I don't care which team you root for. If you take Brzustewicz and Schmidt from Kitchener, Mailloux/George from London, DelMastro/Dllingham from Sarnia, etc etc etc., that will have an effect. It's up to the teams to figure out how to adjust, but brushing it off like "meh, it's no biggie" makes me scratch my head.

The issue some posters have is its never acknowledged by the very small minority on here that only mention the slant of refs calls, injuries n schedule in every Spits L n never the other side. ( example was why wasnt the PP discrepancy mentioned game 1 by....... ;)
Heck when London hosted their last Cup n lost to Guelph in rd 2, they had 2 of top 3 D out and the message was they backed doored into the Memorial Cup and didn't deserve it lol. A couple years later........Windsor loses rd 1 and excuses of injuries n 1 ref call was the theme for the exit and no back door acknowledgement. It's all good, we get his agenda. But when ya flip flop ya got no integriry or cred. JMO.
And he did so only after staying away for a month and waiting til they won lol. Funny the narrative changed. It's the hypocritical nature people call out. The calling it out all is all fair on a public forum when ya beat your chest as an authority n police person of the board publicly and in PMs.
But again it's 1 or 2 posters. Heck they do it before games even start to set the table
Looks weak.

Again the huge majority see it and offer quality posts. No harm posting thoughts, hopes deficiencies, shortcomings, areas for improvement.....
Most see that.

I wont paint the majority on here with the same brush as 1 or 2 excuse making, agenda driven poster(s)

What does my post have to do with officiating?

Hey, it's their forum, populated by Spits fans. They, of all people should decide who they'll tolerate, and what they'll choose to acknowledge or debate with. If one person becomes irritable or intolerable, they know how to deal with it. Personally, I find there is some entertainment value in visiting/lurking here occasionally. But them, my great grandparents used to go watch the inmates of an asylum on a Sunday afternoon. The action was never predictable.

And you only get it when it happens to your team ;) Hockey people get it on both sides of a fence ;)

Funny ya didn't mention the disparity in PPs as when it slants against Windsor u always post that. Hhhmmmmm.
You always post it wasn't even u less it favours Windsor then it's ok?
