Things that make you go hmmm

I thought Willie had a great 1st half of the game but that he slowly tailed off, on the last couple of PP's he played it looked like he was having trouble with quick movements. Hopefully he doesn't have some kind of ligament or tendon injury upper body. For all the great things the Leafs managed last night we still need all hands on deck to come out on top of the Bolts

Keefe already came out and said Willy and Engvall are fine so...

The guy during a playoff game played like that (hounding the puck, blocking shots, ect) while dealing with food poisoning.....

Don't really want to hear anymore about him having lack of effort because of a couple mediocre midseason games

Willy had a solid game .. but last game lets be real Mitch was over da top dominant man on ice .. I want to see team with both guys playing in beast mode .. i now think if we see that scenario Tampa can't manage it .. it is too much for them

I’ve already seen multiple people suggest it’s a smart play to avoid contact from Cernak in a 5-0 game….

My issue with Nylander is he makes this exact play seemingly once a game. He frequently takes a strange route or slows down in order to avoid being first on the puck in a corner and the ensuing contact.

All the skill in the world but too many embarrassing efforts like this.

The first sentence is people rationalizing garbage, most people on the team aren’t even capable of doing that. Imagine what the TB bench thought.

Better show up Game 5 Willie.

This play pretty much cemented the fact that Willie is getting trraded for a #2 Dman during the offseason. Put it in the bank
You can bet most players on the team were disgusted by that. I don't know how anyone can want him in a Leafs uniform after that, but Keefe will have him in there again no doubt...

You cannot win playoff series in the NHL with passengers. Willy is a NHL regular season, Swedish hockey league type of player. What he did, which is cowardly, sent a message to his team mates we cannot depend on him to compete. and to the opponents, run his ass he is scared shitless. Totally unacceptable and to me not even a bit surprising, this is who he is high skill low compete/desire. He HAS to be moved in the off season for a defenseman with some JAM.

Well, last night there was a huge no-show by ... did anyone show up?

I'm sure some had good stats in a non-productive manner, you know the stats losers cling to.

Game 5 is his biggest game as a leaf

Continue to no show and you can pack your bags

Show up with a couple points and you can start to right the wrong of this series and playoff narratives

It’s up to him and how much he wants to win and stay here

He doesn’t care. Look at his fly by in the last minute of the 1st period of game one.
Sit him out the next game.

So for game 5 if I don't see people calling out players for being soft for going for their change before the blue line instead of skating a bit more into the zone before peeling off, you're all a bunch of hypocrites.

Get your best roasts and disses ready because changing before the blue line happens like every 1 second.
