Nylander got a point again so that was a small bump in the road. Marner might get going now. Its nice to se Nylanders effort. I wonder if Tavares with Matthews and Nylander at C second line would be a disaster. Lucky for all Leaf fans i am not the coach because i would try that.

I don't think Willy centering Bert and Jarnkrok would be a bad idea. I'd be more concerned about JT with Matty - two very shoot-first players.

Nylander has had the better career stats wise but not by a lot.

Reinhart also was stuck on a brutal Sabres team so there is that.

You can’t give this guy a penny more than 10 million because he’s still the same player he’s always been. He’ll have spurts of terrific game s but he’ll resort to casual play in just as many games. We’ll regret it if we him more than 10 million.

With 95 more games, and averaging over a minute more per game, Reinhart has amassed a whopping 14 more points!

Nylander is 6 months younger and currently making less than $500K more.

Both contracts come due the same time. Should be interesting.

Willie will get more. The question is, how much more is he worth and how much more will he get? This will tell us if Toronto really has to overpay it's stars/the Leafs are pushovers.
