Looked good to close out the season. We will desperately need playoff Willy if we are to get past the Bolts.

Kinda nervous putting him with JT after they haven't played sustained 5 on 5 together for a while. If they're on the ice for 2 even strength Goals Against on Monday I think you break them up and don't put them back together for the rest of the series. Too much at stake.

I wouldn't even try it. I like the 1 - 2A - 2B set up rather than 1A - 1B - 3, especially given 1B's track record.

Engvall is a tough spot, he at times tries to do too much too quickly, so had he tried the pass to Nylander, who was semi-open and it got intercepted team wise people would calling him out for making the tougher choice, but yeah I thought he could try for Nylander there who was primed for the hattrick.

Looked like Nylander was a little annoyed (my reading the celebration where he congratulated Engvall but didn't look thrilled) but team first eh?

PPG would have been nice, pairing him next year with more suitable linemates would be better.

Nylander unfortunately suffers from getting the Kessel treatment too often. Elements of this market really just don't care for certain types of players.

I get annoyed with Nylander at times, but during the regular season with 82 games and no real prize at the end of it ...

Hopefully the entire team shows up going forward cause one line can't do it in the playoffs as last year showed.

Obviously the team was comfortable signing Nylander at his current caphit/length of contract or else they wouldn't have signed it. No side ever gets exactly what their original position was during a negotiation like this.

Not saying moving Nylander is right or wrong at this point (depends on the return and what the team circumstances are) but he seems so much more assertive out there when the big dogs aren't around. I could see him going full Kadri in a new environment and hitting 90+ points.

I think he only really struggled in the third quarter.

First half of the season and last quarter he did well. Disappeared in Q3.

If you adding on Nylander to get a Kaprizov then you do that trade. Otherwise you're just a big idiot trading him for any other reason. Facts
