In the same nimber of games and almost identical ice time, Nylander has two more goals and two fewer assists than JT, two OT goals (JT has none) and five GWG (JT has three), plus a higher shooting %. Tavares is better at faceoffs, but that seems to be about it.
JT also leads all forwards in giveaways with 63, and has only 36 takeaways. Compare that to Nylander with 31 giveaways and 53 takeaways.
I would put Nylander with Mihkeyev and Kerfoot, and Tavares with two of Kase, Spezza, Robertson, and Engvall, or maybe even Bunting.
I don't care if you call them 2 and 3, or 3 and 2, or 2A and 2B.
