The Jays are guaranteed to start at home in the ALDS. Now I think the Game 2 starter should be Stroman, however when it comes to Dickey I say it depends on who they play. It's been said the effect of his knuckle ball depends on the weather. In Toronto they can close the roof at the Rogers Centre if he starts Game 2. However I also heard in a cold climate like New York it might not be good, however in a warmer climate against the Rangers or Astros it might be a lot better.

should be Price 1, Stroman 2 unless you're absolutely certain you're not going Price game 4 on 3 days rest. Because it leaves that option open to go Price game 4 on 3 days rest and Stroman game 5 on regular rest.

Yeah, that's interesting. The knuckle will be hugely effected by the weather, so he might get the 2nd game unless we're in a warm climate. Stroman's awesome, so it shouldn't matter if he plays in cold or warm.

I think I'd send out Dickey for Game 2 regardless, knowing I had Stroman ready to go for Game 3, but you can't really go wrong, I guess.

there's nobody available for that game. Everyone would be on too short of rest. The Tuesday game being carried over to Wednesday screwed us over for Sunday

they definitely should have Saunders on the playoff roster instead of Revere though. Saunders is cheaper, and Saunders with 1 knee is better than below average bat Revere

Everyone knows Dickey always has that one game where he can't get anyone out and we see it from the start. For example, the start in LAA. I hope we don't see that from him in the playoffs. That's why I'm weary of him in game 2.

Let's say Storman does pitch Game 2, wins and it puts the Jays up 2-0 in the series. I would rather take my chances with Dickey in Game 3, because there have been times when he didn't have the best home starts and so far Storman looks to be the better option.

this is why bandwagoners who haven't watch mlb playoffs are annoying. Someone who hasn't seen these playoffs before, wouldn't know that baseball is so much different than other sports
