Still think they should have two games at the same time. I know it's always been this way in the MLB playoffs, but still. No reason they can't have WC winner/KC and Texas/Jays both at 8. You can pick which you want to watch.

I make out ok. I have Friday off and my Thursday is only booked up in the evening onward, so if the game starts at 12:30-1pm local time I should be able to catch most if not all of it.

If the Blue Jays finished with the best record in the American League would they still have been given the same start times for Games 1 & 2? The fact that Game 3 starts Sunday at 8:00 PM makes me think that MLB would rather give the Rangers fan the better time since they will be back in the United States.
