I'd assume it will be Hamels on short rest in game 1, Gallardo in game 2, Holland game 3 and Perez game 4, with Hamels getting game 5. To be honest this could really back fire on Texas, I'm really surprised Bannister is going with all 3 lefties in this series.

What's the hold up for the game-time on Thursday? I have a stadium-view room in the Rogers center and it'd be nice to know when to check-in!

Hamels .675 OPS Vs. righties .645 vs lefties
Holland is .848 and .740
Perez is .777 and .537

Having Perez and Holland out there is asking for 2 losses. Hamels is Hamels, he's still a very good pitcher and the less extreme splits show he's effective. He's only started 4 games vs the Jays and the numbers are ugly; .348 BAA,6.97 ERA,1.94 WHIP. Hard to argue that we aren't favorites here.

Game is at 12. What if Check In isn't until 3?

Confirmed? My buddy organizing and another guy work full-time the plot thickens if it's at 12

Likely they want to know who wins the WC game so that the other ALDS matchup is set. That way they can schedule based on popularity/ratings potential or something like that. Like someone suggested, if the Yankees win the wild card game and the other Thurs. game is NYY/KC, it probably gets the late slot. If it's Hou/KC, it's a tougher call.

AFAIK the games are either 8pm ET or about 4-5pm ET

There is absolutely zero chance Game 1 is at 12

The earliest (and most likely time tbh) it will be is at 4

Just messing, I'm sure it will be fine.
Selfishly, I'm hoping both games are early so I can catch all of it.

If Houston wins the Wild Card game I can't see them and the Royals getting the late game on Thursday. With Toronto having Donaldson, Bautista, Encarnacion, Tulowitzki and Price starting Game 1, you think those they would get a prime time start.

Blue Jays twitter is indicating that they're hoping to have game times finalized today - and if that's the case no chance we get a primetime start with the Yankees still conceivably involved.

(or they could just be placating the hundreds of people asking them the exact same question)

Really? The plucky Royals, who captured America's heart last year with their pluckiness.

Hosmer, Cain and Moustakas are more household names than Bautista, Encarnacion and Donaldson in the US.

Yet when all the Royals players were virtually leading all the starting positions for the All Star Game at one point all those votes were coming out of Kansas City and everyone else was upset at that. So I think people outside of Kansas City don't care as much about them.

Still know exactly who they are thanks to Fox and TBS a year ago.
