FWIW Kendrick Perkins has it a strong possibility he's going to the Lakers (ugh), he had KD to the Nets called a couple weeks ago

Last night on The Jump they also wondered if he was drawing this out as some kind of loyalty test, see if anyone would leak things. If that's the case, boy did the Lakers fail lol.

Definitely does seem like its trending that way and it's been trending that way for a couple days now. Although a lot of that is so many people insisting it's a done deal, so either he made a decision today or yesterday and is drawing it out for some unknown reason or they're all full of ****.

It's being drawn out because some guys just like the attention. Wouldn't surprise me if it last a few more days.

Certainly feels like it is down to the Lakers and Clippers though

I’m trying to figure out why Kawhi would want to be second fiddle to Lebron and I can’t come up with an answer

What a weird choice by him

he wouldn't be playing second fiddle. lebron will become more of a facilitator and cede the spotlight to kawhi with AD in the mix and with his advanced age. not to mention once lebron retires in a few years its AD+kawhi

guy just led the raptors to a title. let's not act like he'd go to the lakers and become a 3rd option

He grew up a fan of the Lakers and Lebron will be out of there in 3 years. After that, the Lakers will be his and AD's team.
Fair I guess

I’ll believe that when I see it haha

But what you’re saying makes sense

lebron's seems to be slowly doing just that ever since the cavs won in '16. going to the lakers was all about the next chapter of his life

with kawhi and AD it'd be the perfect opportunity to finally take a backseat to someone else

He most certainly has not lol.

I totally believe that was a Central point of his pitch, it might have even worked and maybe, just maybe, I might believe he might actually try to do that. But yeah, I'll believe he cedes the spotlight when he actually does it.

Actually he said he wasn't a Lakers fan. But that's besides the point, going to LA would be about going home and having a chance to win. The Lakers just offer him the better chance to win out of the two.

i know for a fact it was a part of the lakers/lebron's pitch to kawhi

obviously last season he was going to have 100% of the spotlight on him playing with a bunch of kids. not going to be true with AD and maybe kawhi

Lol ok, Woj is that you?

And it's very much going to be true even with the biggest three we've ever seen. I think LeBron is often very unfairly maligned but when it comes to attention seeking he really isn't at all.

Yeah, he's not at all about drawing attention to himself

It's been reported more credibly than that, just making fun of the "I know for a fact" statement, like you were in the room lol.

But that might be tame in comparison to actually thinking LeBron changed in 2016, that's just hilarious.

Uhhhhh no it's not lol. That's besides the point but that's also again very wrong.

And yes, LeBron signing with perhaps the sports highest profile team in an attempt to kickstart his Hollywood career is obvious evidence that he is no longer an attention seeker. Are you even reading what you're typing out?

so a guy who is getting direct information from people at AEG is wrong. got it

i'm talking on the court. guy dominates the EC for nearly a decade and then leaves to join a team that's been crap for the majority of this decade and (at the time) was filled with a bunch of kids. you even mentioned the hollywood thing. that's the main reason he signed with the lakers. now with AD and possibly kawhi on the way you really think he's going to try his hardest to outshine them?
