And to think all they dealt for the draft pick to select Cuylle was Lias Andersson. What a steal. Rangers need to make more sneaky trades like thisThe thing I like about his style of play is that he can be a real difference maker in the playoffs when things get physical. He can score a greasy goal when it counts. And he's willing to hit on nearly every play.
Another way of looking at it: The draft is a crapshoot. And to think all they dealt for the draft pick to select Cuylle was Lias Andersson. What a steal. Rangers need to make more sneaky trades like this
It helps that we've stopped wasting second round picks on goalies.Another way of looking at it: The draft is a crapshoot.
Sometimes draft picks work out, sometimes not. The amount of luck you need increases with each round. Does that mean it's a crapshoot? Kinda yea. But there's still some skill involved. I'd say in the first two rounds, it's like 50/50 in terms of skill vs luck of the front office. Higher luck vs skill is required in rounds 3 and beyond.Another way of looking at it: The draft is a crapshoot.
