John Hynes gets another shot?! Really?
He's in the Ray Shero Tom Fitzgerald Bill Guerin team USA Wilkes Barre orbit of course. How does John Hynes keep getting work?
Oh I know how, I just don't understand how.Have you uh, been with this league long?
The NHL is an incompetent league from top to bottom.
The NHL might be the only league where actual children and AIs would do a better job of managing teams than the people in charge.
No one should be surprised by the revolving door.John Hynes gets another shot?! Really?
It’s not what you know, it’s who you know. How does John Hynes keep getting work?
If the Wild fire Guerin can the Oilers have him?
Guerin seems like he’d be a smart GM. What are the most egregious moves he’s made as the Wilds GM. Besides those cap penalties buyouts that weren’t fully his fault. What else has he done?I thought Oilers fans wanted their team to be good for once
Not to mention one is retiredSee it's posts like this that are comical. McLellan and Laviolette have their teams at the top of the league
- they were not illegal contracts at the time they were signed. How did that $15M go down exactly? I thought those were penalties for long and illegal contracts signed by the previous GM and Guerin was left holding the bag. Or was there a way for Guerin to have avoided the penalties?
evason pay for lack of talent in this team...
i watched Minnesota d group before start of regular season and i had no idea how this D would be able to bring wild in playoff...Spurgeon get injured so Wild didn't had any better choice than using a rookie who had 2 NHL gameunder his belt over 23 min / game
- they were not illegal contracts at the time they were signed.
- 14.7 m this year is the penalty for the team buying out Suter and Parise early.
- he could have avoided the penalties by not buying them out, or lessened them by just buying out Parise.
Just for starters, Foligno sucked last year. Really sucked and became nothing but a penalty liability towards the end of the year. A smart GM would wait a little bit to see if a contract year would motivate the player to be better. But instead, Billy was so so desperate to keep him, that he threw the most ridiculous contract at him before the season even started.....a contract that will most likely be bought out further creating dead cap space. That's just ONE of the many reasons.Guerin seems like he’d be a smart GM. What are the most egregious moves he’s made as the Wilds GM. Besides those cap penalties buyouts that weren’t fully his fault. What else has he done?
Resigning three 35 year olds with term coming off of bad seasons in a 24 hour span...Guerin seems like he’d be a smart GM. What are the most egregious moves he’s made as the Wilds GM. Besides those cap penalties buyouts that weren’t fully his fault. What else has he done?
