Happy for Buch.......but you know what.....? You know how many here are kind of fed up with Buch? His lack of scoring and lack of aggressive play, lack of showing up every game....... well if you're a team on the outside looking in.... that's exactly the kind of player that you target because he's not quite reaching his potential, and you could get him on the cheap. Isn't that what the Rangers really kind of need to do? grab talented players that are under achieving with another team? Its been saud here before. This is EXACTLY why, we need to be patient with Buch, and how he really can progress to be a huge part of this rebuild when the finished product is indeed finished.

I know time is running out, but he showed me many flashes of a potential top 4 defenseman. He just needs to be a little more consistent, coached a little more, and deployed better (with a better partner for him). Do not put him in a defensive role, do not put him on the PK, and teach him not to bank the puck off the boards.

Cutting ties with him now would be selling really low. Talent wise we all know he is capable of more. You hold on to him and hope it clicks for him.
