I am lucky to have a black 2005 ovechkin ccm jersey in black. CCM/Koho was the gold standard in jerseys.
I have three of the old CCM original Canes jerseys- a white Cole with a bunch of signatures from the 2009 team, a red that was blank but I did up as a 2006 Williams after the 2019 run, and a blank youth XL jersey that I got recently with the intent of wearing close fitting while biking or hiking.

I also have a bunch of other teams I pick up while thrifting or ebay- Vancouver skate, Thrashers, Nashville of that era (which I fitted out as a Scott Walker), ducks...

Most of my jerseys are still the old CCMs. Just so well made, and the Canes went though a lot of designs that were far inferior to the originals and that I didn't want to pay to own. The Stadium Series jersey is the first Canes jersey I've bought outside of the originals, and I'm probably going to get the reverse retro as well.

I was given a red Starter jersey the first season and at this point I'm debating whether or not to frame it because I feel like it's rare enough to legit be a collectors item. Even put on the Cup patch after we won in 2006

Nhl.com has the stadium series jerseys deeply discounted for the next few hours. Just got one for $100 Canadian including taxes and shipping.

Will have to score a patch and send it off somewhere to be customized. Looked at buying one from the canes pro shop and it would’ve cost me $500.

Alright.. before I completely lose it. Anyone else order a customized adidas all star jersey from fanatics/NHLShop?

It got here today, and it’s heat pressed single layer crap!

I saw nothing that would’ve led me to believe these would be a take down of the standard adidas prime greens we can buy, and the jersey itself is not.

But this heat pressed single layer is unacceptable

That's awful. I've heard NHL shop customization is sub par, but yikes. If you can get it somewhere else for a similar price I'd return.
the fanatics rep is currently telling me i need to look in the item description because there are "customized" adidas jerseys and "authentic" ones. which is BS.

I swear if my stadium series jersey gets here later this month like this...

I really feel like you’re better off buying from a small shop or at least sending your jerseys in for customization.

I recently bought a couple Adidas authentic from nhl.com just to take advantage of their pricing but I’m sending them off to a jersey shop for customization. Takes longer but I know it will be done right. I don’t trust the nhl store at all.

I typically go the eye/CPS, coolhockey, hockeyAuthentic, etc.

But I had a $100 gift card to fanatics so for something I wasn’t too crazy over, figured it was a good fit. Lesson learned.

My stadium jersey (adi, burns) is coming from nhlshop but that item description defintley says authentic

I'm just a cheapskate and buy the kits from Customize Sports (where many if not most shops source their kits) and stitch 'em myself. Actually just stitched up my Aho Stadium Series today. But yeah, you do have to both stitch the layers together and stitch them to the jersey. You do save nearly $100 over buying from the Eye if you don't mind the time and are comfortable with the sewing machine, though.

Just a good old fashioned miser. Doing your own repairs and alterations can save quite a bit of money, and I also get a lot of satisfaction out of getting a lot more life out of stuff that most people would throw out. A sewing machine is just one more power tool!
Awesome for boat upholstery repair too.

Got this jersey in the mail the other week from a canes charity auction.

I didn't think about how large a size 56 would be, before I bought it. I think I'll have to wear some shoulder pads if I want to wear it to a game

Fanatics is genuinely awful. Their product quality is monopolistically terrible with monopolistically high prices because they have cornered the market and you literally have no alternatives at a mass produced level.

I am not surprised that their customization of Adidas authentics is terrible heat pressed bullshit priced at tackle twill sewn on customization levels. They can do it because they've bought up and absorbed all competitors to let them reign supreme in the marketplace.

I really hope they do not win the NHL contract going forward because it would absolutely kill the sports merchandise market in hockey. They are a company they very much needs to be split up by the SEC.

Buy from TheEye at CarolinaProShop.com

It's the same inventory as in the arena.
This is what I did for my Stadium Series jersey. I got one of the Fanatics anniversary jerseys for cheap around Christmas, but it is bad quality. I wanted to do this one right, so I did the Pro Shop website since the lines at the game were long. It's taking a long time to turn around, but I figured it'd be worth it. I used to have no problem with the lower-grade jerseys instead of authentic but the Fanatics ones aren't good. It was more expensive for sure, but worth it compared to the other option.

I do think some of the other Fanatics apparel can be decent for just shirts and hats and stuff. I've had good luck getting some stuff insanely cheap like division title/playoffs/Super Bowl shirts by just waiting a few months after they happen.

Love all this information. I’ve still got to get my Adidas Stadium Series jersey done. I need to get on that.

These are the wife’s & my older jerseys.
