I can’t say I despise the Pro Line Fanatics stuff I’ve bought (because adidas all but stopped caring about apparel for years), but the standard gear is no more than print on demand trash. Horrible shrinking, misaligned graphics.

The hats have improved I’ll say, and it would be nice if they allowed us to buy MiC authentics vs the Indo ones. But I have zero faith in that hah
The only stuff I have bought from fanatics was their locker room "Authentic Pro" stuff as well. That stuff is pretty nice IMO and has held up well. The problem is that it's extremely overpriced...

Adidas Whalers 1992 Team Classic Jersey

You guys see this? Cory said they were wearing them in practice today?
Nah, just new practice uniforms

Agree with you there. I’ve gotten all of those pieces on random fanatics sales so the retail price has been nice. But everything from that line has survived workouts and casual wear just fine. And the pro line hats are very nice.

Well.. too worried about a tailor messing up the orientation of the patch, so I summoned the courage and at-home heat pressed the patch in place (…iron).

Worked perfectly! Now to just have nice hand stitched black thread around the patch done at some point

Adidas 1992 whalers jersey is great, got mine off sportsk and fits like a ccm.
I ordered one off nhl.com in my usual size and it was wayyyyyyy too big even with a sweater underneath so I returned it.

While buying another jersey off eBay today I noticed the same store had those classic whalers jerseys and made specific mention in the title that they run big so if you want a 46 you need to order a 44. Got another on the way now :D

Where do you guys like to buy merch from online? Is eBay the best bet price wise?

Yeah, I'm a little annoyed that the jerseys weren't sold with he patch on them. Yes, they wore them a second game without the patch, but c'mon.

So its been a little while since I ran one of these things by you all. Been tinkering with the rebrand concepts that I have shown in here numerous times before, and I came up with the following. What do you all think?

The overall shape of that one seems a little odd to me. I've liked some of your other versions better.
Its the same basic design, I just lengthened the flat bit on the sides and then curved to the tops....

From this, I put a 9 degree angle on it to create the one from earlier

Did you see in the fanatics/Betman interviews with Wyshynski that redesigns are on hold for a couple of years now? They also put the kibosh on reverse retros

If I was a betting man, and I have never made a vegas bet in my life, I would all but guarantee we will be seeing the Canes taking part in a pretty comprehensive rebrand in 2026-27. We already know Dundon isn't super pleased with the current aesthetic, doesn't particularly care for the old logo, and really doesn't care much for the red jerseys. I bet you we'll see our entire identity shaken up when the new Fanatics templates are introduced after the Adidas transition is completed.

I think you’re probably right, but I hope not. I’ve very much enjoyed watching the anniversary jerseys this year, like noticeably enjoying the game more when they’re wearing them. Maybe it’s silly but I just don’t think any of the newer stuff comes close
