Think Eichel trade.

- first round pick.
- top prospect the Canucks have keyed onto.
- an under 25 year old with some good upside the franchise likes
- additional draft capital.

that, or lateral 1 for 1.

Fleming island, Fl
I doubt the Isles have any interest trading either Barzal or Dobson, they are young core players that play key roles for the team now and going forward. You're barking up the wrong tree. It doesn't make sense for the Isles at all.

Look for a young RHD elsewhere.

have to agree, Barzal is an absolute stud. Has already beaten multiple hall of famers in the playoffs among other stars in this league and has the potential to be a 90 plus point guy in a different environment (already put up 85 big ones as a 20 year old rookie ) plus an emerging 21 year old Right handed potential top #1-2 dman? The Isles would pass I suspect. As far as Petey, being too lazy look it up but has he scored over 70 points in the NHL? Appears to play in a wide open run and gun environment and feasts on PP points with better scoring sidekicks to contribute.

EP40 is at his best when he is having a show, dangles and dekes, and blasting off his shot. If he doesnt have inspiration, he probably is a bit off.

Cuchryn for Elias is a good start on a deal. An add from Arizona, like a pick or prospect. Elias worth is hovering around Laine level.

I'd love him on the Rangers but unrealistic.

Would do a package for him with guys like Chytil, Schnieder and obviously + for him if VAN was down.

One doesn't exist.

Any offer will be rejected by the fan base or completely unrealistic from the offering teams perspective.

And should a deal get done, its likely for less than expected.

Hence, a realistic trade does not exist

Makes no sense to trade EP40 this year.

He is at his lowest value right now and the Nucks are not in a hurry to make more changes considered how well the team has been playing lately.

On that note, Max Domi and 1st? :D

Who cares, what people still listen to sports talk radio anyways? Bunch of boomers who wanted a good ol Canadian kid given a platform to try and run him out of town.

No need to move a young, talented player in a year where the team has no shot at a long playoff run. He stays.

Canucks fans over value Petey.

Something like Forsberg (extended) and Carrier for Petey is probably fair value

Seider for Pettersson straight up. Sort of like the Johansen - Seth Jones trade. Two guys drafted in almost the same draft position. RyJo and Seth Jones were both 4th overall picks. Pettersson is a fifth overall and Seider is a sixth. The right D has good size and looks promising. The center is more established but looks like he has taken a step back and there are questions about his long term fit with the team.

He's also Swedish so he fits with Edvinsson, and Raymond :sarcasm:
Sure, depending on what needs to be traded but if it involves Seider like the poster above then nah.

Pass, I’d offer something like 2022 1st + Hronek + but leave our Seider alone.

What is the objective in dealing him? Is it to fill in around vets like Horvat or Miller? "Build for the future"? Seems like it would be better to let him work through whatever is wrong now than make a move.

“Knives are out” why because a random guy at home called into a post game show? Dumbest logic ever. LOL

Because he has sucked ass this season. He has like 7 ev strength points and 3 of those are secondary assist

And? He didn't die. He's in a slump.
34 game slump with 2 coaches and the whole team playing much better. Its time to call it what it is and its a regression in his skill level due to a poor work ethic during the offseas0n transiting into a season where literally anyone on the ice can knock him off the puck

this isnt a "oh he is still getting his chances" this is a "where the F is Petey and is he even playing today"
