Lol yeah no. Junk and overage junk.

Junk? Seriously? Bailey is a pretty solid player who performs in the playoffs, unlike many other NHL players.

Seriously for being out for 2 years on a botched surgery to come back and do that. Plus have .50 gpg in the playoffs shows he is healthy. No player comes back from missing almost and entire season ( with exception to kuch) and kills it. That's why blues should just have him play next year and move him at tdl. Cause nobody here seems to want to offer anything of value. Obviously what we think at the end of the day doesn't mean anything but one would think that gm consensus was the same hence a trade didn't happen unless gms wanted to wait after the expansion draft.

So, your saying scoring at 0.5 is worth 7,5M? What is scoring at 1.0 worth - 15M? 0.5 is low 2nd line or 3rd line production. How many 3rd liners get 7.5M?

He stays in St Louis and they hope he rebounds. If he was passed up for free then I doubt anyone gives up assets on him.

Once again you took what I said out of context. Do you think missing most of two years that when you come back you are 100% NHL ready nope. It took about 5 10 games of 24 to get back into into the swing of things. Have you ever played the game your self..

If taraseno hist 25 goals and 35 assists that's 60+ points is that worth 7.5 ? That's what I think he will do if not better

If Blues are looking strictly looking to clear cap for Landeskog.

How about the following deal (I proposed on the Isles board) as a basis:

Isles - Tarasenko 2 x 7.5 (no retention)

Blues - Boychuck 1yr - 6m LTIR, small sweetener

Maybe Blues retain the 1.5m and the Isles add Wilde or some other prospect/s as previously suggested.

We don't know what happened do we. We should know by 7pm maybee they are getting other assets for retaining tarasenkos salary for a three way trade like has been reported for nyi and phi. So we are not there yet are we. So far all we know is what has been leaked. We don't even truly know if this is actually true. Lol

We sought of do know though. Why would St. Louis expose him for nothing if they could have traded him for anything of value, let alone a first. The Nhl network analyst crew said you are probably going to have to retain salary and get little return.
Their words.

Is it possible they have a deal. We don't know. 1 guy said that while Bruce b said he was healthy and held value. Conflicting opinions go figure. I guess you were not going to mention. That. Lol I been watching since they started.

Or don’t retain and get nothing in addition to the sweetener. This deal essentially removes Tarasenko’s cap hit. As some here are looking to do.

Your the only one who seems hopeful that he has value. Maybe he does but all optics and reports suggest no.

Not to mention he’s really good defensively and can play all 3 forward positions. Ohh and he plays at an all star level for his career in the playoffs and the stats back it up.

Why don't you propose a trade for Tank since it seems you want to simultaneously:

Clear a lot of cap space AND get back lots of assets that aren't junk. Of course a #1 pick at #25 or higher is likely junk to you and a prospect is likely junk to you because they are unproven.

Make your offer to the Isles.

This should be enlightening . . .

Lol what was the sweetener. So we take on 6mil ltir salary which we pay and you get a 30 goal scoring healthy tarasenko. No thanks hard pass

His shoulder will go wonky when he takes a clapper at a skate in the summer, and he'll need surgery again
Ok well obviously you are a person who sees the future. Can you tell me what the power ball and mega millions numbers are

Insurance pays his remaining 2m of salary. And LTIR “essentially” takes the entire cap hit us off your books. Do you know how LTIR works?

Also, Blues ownership saves a butt load of real money.

By the way other Blues fans can comment. This wasn’t just for you and I know you don’t speak for them all.
