I'll be proud of this team's effort and the excitement it brought me for the rest of the summer.

But for now, I still cannot get over these missed/flubbed calls in the biggest games of the season.

I didn't want to post anything during the SC run because I can be superstitious but WELL DONE boys ... there is ZERO to be ashamed of. Yes it is fresh and it hurts and stings but that will motivate this core moving forward. I love the resolve and the attitude of this team. There is so much to love and root for on this team. COULD NOT BE PROUDER. :handclap::handclap::handclap:

The only thing that really stings is that last clip of Hank laying face down on the ice knowing it was over because he GAVE 1000% and fell a few bounces short. I love this guy. :(

He could have shot it harder and bit higher.

Are you kidding? Nash took a one timer where the guy's stick magically touched the puck.

I'd love to hear a breakdown of how Nash could've done anything differently there, man. That's just not the case. Was a combo of a hell of a lot of luck on LA's part and a great job by Voynov to get his stick remotely in the way.

Happy, dissapointed, empty and numb. Will take a couple days to let it sink in. It is over. But I'm so happy that no more sleepless nights. Been up for 24hours again... damn. What a run.

Honestly, beating Pittsburgh in the fashion we did was pretty GOAT.

It's not good enough. In the salary cap era, you can't pay a guy $8 million a year for effort and improved defense. He has to produce or he has to go. It's that simple.

Doesn't matter. It's too late. And we shouldn't trade him anyway he's one of the top goal scorers in the league and had a good playoffs. Sometimes things dont go our way. Dont be a fan who just bases their opinion on the box score. You're going to say Nash had a great game tonight if Voynov's stick is 1 inch higher and misses the puck and Nash wins it?

Nash was very good tonight. Would've scored the game winner had their D not magically gotten his stick in the way.

He also flubbed the puck 3/4 of the time it touched his stick and got knocked off the puck by players half his size through the whole series. His game just fell off a cliff. Why would you even want to keep him?

It's going to be tough to get back. Very tough. But they wii because of Lundqvist.

Very disappointed in a few players. It's going to take a lot for me to forget how small they were on the biggest stage.

Can't believe it over, but camps in 3 months.

They will because of Lundqvist. And will fail because he is the only one stepping it up when it matters.

So what that it was a one timer? It was weak. Put MSL in that spot and he slaps it hard.

He could have shot it harder and bit higher.

It's the kinds of nitpicky posts that really get to me. It's very easy to elevate a shot while sitting on your couch.

It's not the Nash shot even, but how many times to people post something like "you gotta get that puck elevated!" The majority of the time when the player is 2 feet from the net in a mad scramble to get to a rebound. It's just not that simple.

Best part of the season for me was seeing scoring machine Brian Boyle beating NBC's favorite defenseman, Drew Doughty, like a rented mule and going top shelf on Quick. I'm gonna use that memory and a lot of scotch to heal this wound. Hell of a season guys.

All the feels

The league has so much parity. We could just as well be back next year or not make the playoffs at all, its why they play the game, and why the Cup is so special. Ill remember this season fondly for the run the boys made in this playoffs. No regrets, and looking forward to seeing what next year brings forth.

you guys destroying the pens the way you did is worthy of its own trophy

2013-14 ranger's story doesnt have a happy ending but its still a great tale

I still don't think that LA was that much better. They lead for 2 periods and 1 second in the entire series. That's 5 games where they've lead for 40:01. If they were that much better than the Rangers, that number would be much larger.

Sloppy mistakes, ridiculous luck, bad reffing killed the Rangers.

Game 1, stupid turnovers
Game 2, stupid turnovers + bad reffing
Game 3, Ridiculous luck (two deflections off Rangers + pass off McD skates and right back to LA stick)
Game 5, bad reffing

Uhhhhg depression. Good post season, I really felt they would take it to a game 7. They came so close, but the same **** every year. Get a lead, then try and play penalty kill and hope hank bails the team out. As soon as I saw them try and hold the lead, I knew it was over.

I just don't know what to think with girardi, Nash, Richards, And staal.

It's hilarious that anyone would blame Nash on that chance to begin with. It was a perfect shot that was miraculously deflected. These things happen.
