Wow. What a season. A little sad it ended how it did, but proud of this team overall.

They'll be back soon..

Game 1 vs the Flyers was April 17th, almost two months and 25 games later it will be nice to finally take a breather, and enjoy some summer.

Before you know it we will be in September training camp. It's been a hell of a ride boys! LGR!

Deserved to lose. Squandered their chances and blew way too many leads in the finals. Henrik seemed to be the only one refusing to lose.

The shame of it all is Lundqvist probably doesn't get another shot at the finals.

He's the reason we got there, and he will be the reason we get back.

So frustrated and disappointed, Henrik did every ******* thing he could. Got dominated in amost every 3rd period this series.

With that said, I love hockey so much and look forward to hockey season more than anything. The fact that we got to watch our team fight through the playoffs and play in the final was amazing. I pray we don't have to wait 20 more years to get back.

Lets ****ing Go Rangers!!!

Kings fan coming in peace.

You guys were a very worthy opponent, much more than some pinheads gave you and the East credit for. Had me nervous the whole way. Lundqvist is, imo, the best in the league, no disrespect to our own amazing goalie.

The effort you guys gave in the playoffs and the run you made was very inspiring and, if we would've been bested this year, I would've preferred it be by your team.

I have no doubt you'll be back strong next year.

Very classy post. Thanks. Congratulations!

Kreider breakaway, Nash's blocked shot, posts. What the **** is with this team in OT?

3 OT losses in one series, ouch. This hurts

So upsetting that the two goals that Gaborik scored in this entire series were tying goals in games 2 & 5. He didn't do a lot outside of that, but those two goals were killers.

Why aren't we trading Nash?

I agree with G he just resigned long term.

No. He may have not had a stellar playoffs, but he was just damned unlucky. He made a bunch of little plays, it just didn't work out for him in goals.

I can't believe AV sat back in the third after we had done the same thing three times already and it resulted in disaster each time.

Disgusted by this league, but couldn't be more prouder of this team. There were maybe 4 games in all of the playoffs where I can question this team's effort. 3 OT games and 2 shouldn't have gotten there. This league is a joke, but this team is special. Thank you NY Rangers. I'm tearing up right now.

Can't change anything now, but everyone here knows this team should be going back home at worst down 3-2. Game two and this game went to OT because of the officials. That said if Bettman really wants to take this league to the next level (which he has had 20 years) then he really needs to get on top of this.
Look at football. When there is a questionable call, they get together to make the right call. Why can't this be incorporated in hockey. Too many times the back ref makes the call when the other ref is right on top of the play and signals nothing. It happened twice tonight. Once for the Rangers and once against . It's a shame such a great sport is lessened by ineptitude.
Anyway. Great year. Hang your heads highs, and the future is definitely brighter than it has been in a long time.

Its like a punch in the guts...We lost 3 games with leads in the 3rd period...But TWO OF THEM the refs ****ed us in the ass with a fork.

It hurts beyond belief how many times we didnt get the puck into the net but had such stellar chances.

The Rick Nash empty netter, McDonaugh off the post...

I'm beyond consolation right now.

Mainly because Lundqvist will probably never get another shot at a Cup in our sweater. I almost cried when the camera panned to him and St.Louis.

The better team won. Kreider needs to practice breakaways all summer.

We seem to be on a "win one, lose one" streak when appearing in the Cup Finals. Since 1940, we're 1-2. If the trend continues, we will win the next one.

It's going to be a beautiful weekend. Think about bouncing Montreal and finally exorcizing the Pittsburgh demon and smile. Let's go for it again next year.
