Man.

I wish some people gave Lundqvist this kinda reaction after he would give up 2 goals in a 2-1 loss.
People give Nash this huge leash for failure, but Lundqvist get's crucified time and time again.
I'm happy that the Rangers got this far. I also think we were clearly the worst team to make the Stanley Cup Finals post lock out. The Kings are in a tier above us, and I'm not sure we beat any of the teams they beat outside of Anaheim (with their goaltending issues).
Lundqvist is a super star, and he proved it by keeping this team in two games they had absolutely not business even being in.
This team needs to start expecting more from their super stars. For some reason, Lundqvist and McDonagh are the only two with a real set of expectations.
Nash and Richards won't live up to their contracts? Trade them / buy them out. Get two players for $14.4M that will perform. Toews and Kane are making less money than these guys. If you subbed Toews/Kane with Richards/Nash, and still got the same performances from Lundqvist/McDonagh, they might be raising the Stanley Cup right now.
Girardi played the worst hockey of his life (which is bad news considering the significant extension we gave him). Staal was pitiful over the last two series (which is concerning).
Bring in studs with that money from buying out Richards and trading Nash, that can actually be game breakers. Tired of one or two players carrying this overachieving team every season (this season was Lundqvist/McDonagh willing them to levels they never should have reached).
