detroit fan wondering about yzermans draft day options
Toronto has pick #28 and not a lot of picks, if they aren't in love with the options, they could maybe do that trade.

i agree that a pick in the 20s isnt worth as much as these three pix in 40s . but a pick in mid to late teens could be , depends whose left once getting to mid teens . ide guess yzerman will be prepared to make this 3 for 1 offer if a player he likes is there . i also wonder if because of covid slowing some guys development that maybe yzerman thinx theres some sleepers there in the 40s and highly rates those pix . cant wait for the draft !Not worth giving up 3 for 1, when you would probably get something in the 20s anyhow. Best bet is pick the 3 best available players and hope for the best.
If you gave up those 3, you would definitely get a late 1st. Players in the 25-45 range are all quite close in ratings.
That would be a steal. Like I mentioned earlier, the odds of those picks combined is equivalent to a player you draft at 8.I'd trade the Flyers #22 depending on if a player they love is on the board.

I'd do that in a heartbeat.Toronto has pick #28 and not a lot of picks, if they aren't in love with the options, they could maybe do that trade.
Yeah it's purely from a prospect/player probabilities of eventual NHL value perspective.I don't think that's accurate from a draft value POV at least, but I think it'd be a good idea for Philly to make the trade to get more shots at the dart board.
I think you misread my post. It's Granlund and PITs pick, not Garland and VANs pick.Don't know if Vancouver would use 14 as a cap dump but if they offer this Detroit should take it and run away quickly
For one of them maybe. The three 2nd picks alone should land in the teens. Taking on Granlund as well? Eating $5Mx2 with $11M in actual money is worth a 1st by itself. Toronto spent #13 to free themselves of $6.25M for only 1 year and only $4.25M in actual cash.I think you misread my post. It's Granlund and PITs pick, not Garland and VANs pick.
7 of his 28 goals were on the PP(25%)....Larkin scored half his goals on the PP If anything Olofsson has a pretty solid ESP to PPP ratio. Not sure a abysmal 5v5 player who's only strength is being a PP specialist at 5m / year is what the Wings are looking for tho.
Looking at models of pick value folks have done previously, that seems to land you around 17-18th OA, but probably more like 19-21 given that the team initiating the trade has to sacrifice a bit of value.
Top 20 picks usually have long nhl careers. Picks in low 40s might have an nhl career beyond 100 games.i agree that a pick in the 20s isnt worth as much as these three pix in 40s . but a pick in mid to late teens could be , depends whose left once getting to mid teens . ide guess yzerman will be prepared to make this 3 for 1 offer if a player he likes is there . i also wonder if because of covid slowing some guys development that maybe yzerman thinx theres some sleepers there in the 40s and highly rates those pix . cant wait for the draft !
