Agreed. Totally the only way. He has to make saves that are needed most in those game critical times. Like dont be a sieve after giving up 1 goal.

With the offense, on the other side, NJ has to bury these almost chances. They had 3 good chances in last 2 mins of 2nd period. That also has to change.

Here is how they fix the Devils. Blackwood is a backup goalie. Ruff gets fired tomorrow and Ryan Graves gets traded for a 6th round pick.

The first Flyers goal was a terrible rebound. The second was a terrible turnover and terrible angle by the goaltender.

I know it’s one game in (not even ) but looks like the same old shit. No one driving the net. Everything offensively is from the perimeter , lose most of the puck and board battles , shitty defensive zone coverage , het hemmed in our own end too often , can’t get a save from our goalie.
I knkw it’s the first game , but before we know it , it will be game #10 and we will be something shitty like 3-7 (if we are lucky) playing this way. We have one goal against a team full of no namers…..
