Every team in every game has major breakdowns.

They don't end up as goals with as much regularity because we do not make saves.

We need to clean shit up (starting with the old man behind the bench) but your goalie has to do what he is paid to do...which is make saves.

yeah if i think he has made one or two good saves in this game... meanwhile the bad goalie on the other end looks much better NHL quality.. you can't change the team Ruff if you are unwilling to play your best guys..

I think what disappoints me more is the sloppiness of play from everyone else. The passing doesn't connect, the puck awareness is nonexistent, the defenders are constantly out of position and scrambling, and everybody is passing up on open shots to feed scrub defensemen from the perimeter.

The coach deserves the nail that he'll get tonight, he certainly earned.

There's no need to give the benefit of the doubt to this SHIT BAG of goalie that's been bad for just about two years now.

I'm ready to see a younger face with a more hairier head of hair behind the bench. I'm actually ready to see anyone who will stop playing him.

I don't wanna see him for a while. Give Vanecek a long leash. Blackwood shouldn't play again until a back to back.

Yeah. They go through periods where nothing seems to be working. Then they have the last 5 minutes of the period where it looks like they’re in sync. I hope that’s a sign of things to come.

do you not think that other NHL teams have breakdowns? The Flyers have had plenty today. Difference is their goalie is making saves whereas ours is not.

our break down was a wrist shot from the high slot and a point shot off his chest to a wide open guy... in fact the devils really have not had many breakdowns in this one.. granted the flyers are trash and nobody offensively... so perhaps ruff was hoping he could pull out sleeper w blackwood.. but you go with van and if he plays well you start him again.

First goal. Screen shot from the point. Gives up a rebound he probably struggled to see and “GRAVES” leaves his guy wide open.
Second goal. That was a great shot and a goal scorers goal using the defense as a screen.
Third goal. Pass out font while Palat watches buddy standing all alone. Two of the goals had guys wide open.
I’m not putting any blame on Blackwood for those. The culpability lies on the two guys leaving guys wide open out front of the net.

Ok. Blackwood didn`t save us. 25 shots and only one goal is a problem. I believe it`s a lack of form, but negative vibe can destroy everything easily.

Sharangovich and Bratt should take their sh`t and make a better plays. I can`t have real claims for Bastian, Mcleod, Tatar, Boqvist and Holtz. I think they are trying to do enough as bottom line players. The problem is Sharanogivch isn`t good first 10 games player.
