I'm confident if Kadri was out more he'd have 1 goal 1 assist at least for this game.

Same. No doubt in my mind that he'd produce more with more time.

Gunner was really bad. Normally he's more stable than that.

He got interfered with on the second goal. The interference call against him was extremely weak and even then was a result of a near-suicide pass. I thought Gunnar was fine.

Did anyone miss Franson or Komisarek? They had a good first game, but we brought in two guys getting paid a whole lot less and they got the job done just the same.

I missed Komisarek, thought he had a decent game in Montreal. Was not impressed with Holzer tonight, which surprised me.

I will say this... if we play like that every night we're going to win a lot more games. We played very well. We really only made a few glaring errors and unfortunately one cost us (despite the fact there probably should have been a penalty on the play). I'm disappointed we lost, but I'm encouraged by the new commitment to defence, and hopefully we'll find our scoring touch soon.

Because of this...Kadri still needs to work on draws. For now, I think it is ok to have him on the 3rd line, and have lots of PP duty.

-Grabo and Kuli looking lost in the offensive zone
-Gunnarson just had a terrible night with a few bad decisions

-Miller stood on his head
-PP looked good, just couldnt capitalize

For all his hype Komarov has been underwhelming too.

All his hype? Before the beginning of the AHL season, most thought that he'd be a bubble player, a possibility to make it as a 4th liner (whenever it started).

We're 2 games in, have allowed 3 goals, and are 1-1, and people are talking like the sky is falling. Scrivens is bad, Komarov looks bad.... etc. The Leafs outplayed the Sabres, whom have the better roster on paper, the only thing that stood in their way from a Win was a true franchise goalie.
