Really hope this injury bug goes away soon, this is the #1 thing that can stop us this season. Luckily it’s early in the year and these injuries aren’t happening in December/January.

So we're down our #1CB, #2CB, our 2nd team all pro safety, our best interior lineman, and our second best pass rushing interior lineman? Crazy stuff.

I honestly think this is going to motivate Allen and the offense to enter god tier like they did against the Pats. Allen has that type of drive to make up for the defensive woes.

Glad we have a ton of depth, though, and I like to think back to 2017 when McD had a far worse defense but was able to bend and not break against a more talented foe.

I still think this is a very good defense with these injuries. The depth is wild

Still have our two rookie CBs that have looked good, probably poyer, edmunds and Milano, rosseauo, von Miller, basham, taron Johnson. Our veteran depth in the secondary know the system and will be ready

I’m smelling a BLOWOUT!!!

Allen has been on fire since the playoffs. It's extremely unlikely he doesnt will this offense to a lot of TD drives. I dont think Tua can keep pace even with these injuries. We're much better in three key areas even w/ injuries QB, O line, and D line. Youre in good shape if you have advantages in those areas.

On the downside- reading more about Hyde's injury, and it seems it can be pretty serious. The fact he went for a second opinion is concerning to me. I dont think we'll be seeing him for a while.

As long as we put Tua in distress, especially early to knock him off his game and win the turn over battle I think we win.

I think the offense goes off and puts up big numbers. I think Allen’s and Diggs’ numbers look similar or better than last game.

both 3 techs are out. i bet we see a lot of rousseau and boogie in the middle with shaq and epenesa rotating on the edge. that positional flexibility that the bills love to have on the dline will be put to the test this week.
Or alternatively we could see Lawson/Epenesa in the middle. The only undersized guy they have on the roster these days is Miller. Didn't seem long ago that every EDGE was in that small/speedy mould...

One thing I'll say is that Miami's OL seems to be improved from last season. Like any team - they are dealing with their own injury issues. Terron Armstead is questionable & would be a big miss for them if he can't go.

Rousseau had a couple of rushes from the interior last week that were insane. If he gets under a guard’s pads with his strength and length, he may as well be unblocked.

All reports are that Jaquan is more than ready to take on the role but this really does suck. It's a massive uphill road to come back from this for Hyde. Feels like the end of an era for the defense.

Motherf......................................

Alright, Jaquan. Time to show us whatchu got.
Edit: well, that must be a herniated disc or similiar?

Time for JJ to show us what he's got. Harder for Bill's to disguise coverage though my initial thought, Johnson was slower to diagnose plays in preseason if I remember correctly.

No Safeties on the practice squad. Looks like Josh Thomas is on Az. Might have to be Cam Lewis backing up for now.

I think Beane makes a trade for a safety in the coming weeks.
