If that is the reason, I’m honestly surprised he restrained himself until after the game. I read on the replies to the tweet I posted that it isn’t the first time the guy has been accused of spitting on guys. Unsure if that is true but there’s that also.Yeah, can't be mad at him for swinging at a guy who spit on him. That's just asking for a fight.
I can, however, still mock him for whiffing and hitting a Titans coach instead.

I can still blame him, it was dumb to retaliate and he ended up missing and hitting a coach. Snitch to the league, if they dont do anything, remember it for the next time and take a 15 yard chop blockThis is why context is important. If it’s true that he was spit at, it’s hard to blame the guy for retaliating

My head says Bills easily, but my heart says it's time for a letdown. Probably will be a frequent feeling this year.On the Dolphins…I feel like every week I have to be the one to point this out and get yelled at for being stupid…but matchups matter. Baltimore had the worst pass D in the league last year. They got destroyed by the pass again. Starting being up three scores. They took their foot off the pedal of a car that barely drives in the first place. Our D is not the Ravens D. And the Dolphins D is a recipe for disaster. Tua with time can make plays to his talented receivers…but guess what this matchup has that Tua didn’t have last week? A team getting among the highest pressure In the league.
Miami came back and won a big game. Cool. 6 touchdowns is great. It’s also half as many passing TDs as our team gave up ALL SEASON last year. With a worse pass rush. Pass rush is key. Tua doesnt extend plays. During the game they spent time actually talking about McDaniel telling Tua he has to learn to be patient in the pocket to let plays develop in front of him. Good luck with that. Miami’s oline is no great shakes. The Bills D line is. If he waits for the play to develop he’s going to be on his back. If he reverts to what he’s been when the pressure gets home…he’s not throwing those touchdowns.
There’s no matchup aside from their WR against our half dead secondary where they win. And if for some reason things went sideways and they did? They still don’t have Josh Allen.
Bills by double digits.
You are correct.Read from Sal (i think) that none of Phillips, Poyer, or Hyde are practicing today. Yikes.

This is the biggest reason I struggle to see Tua as a true franchise/game-breaking QB. With guys like Mahomes, Allen, Rodgers (in his heyday and still even now, a little bit) Lamar, and Murray, you're still worried about what could happen if they escape the initial pressure and have space to make a throw on the run or take off. Tua's pocket presence seems to be getting better, but his best case scenario for throwing after leaving the pocket is dumping it off on a short pass and having whoever catches it make a play. His arm strength, or lack thereof, on off-platform or on the run throws is laughable. It doesn't matter how open Hill or Waddle can get downfield in those scenarios, because the ball isn't making it to them.On the Dolphins…I feel like every week I have to be the one to point this out and get yelled at for being stupid…but matchups matter. It's semantics, but I do think Tua can become a franchise guy, but I can never see him becoming elite for the reasons you mentioned. At best- he'll be in that 5-10 range of guys. Sucks for Phins fans that we have Allen; a potential hall of famer. This is the biggest reason I struggle to see Tua as a true franchise/game-breaking QB. At the same time, if their whole starting secondary besides Taron Johnson is out against hill and waddle and we lose because of it then i can live with it. Outside of Jackson who actually might be ok, it seems like all of them are short term.I'm worried. So many injuries.
