Hoping the Bills are in on Joseph-Day or another DT who can effectively be a middle of the line run-stopper and still offer a little bit of interior pass-rushing. Ankou's been solid in his callups, but between Ed's struggles and Jones hitting a wall, they definitely need another body there, especially with the Carter and Smoot injuries.

I'd guess they might also pick someone up to replace Edwards as a backup, unless they think they can call Cine or someone else up. Forgot they also have Bishop in the wings.

The Steelers have needed a WR for a while and this is the move they make...

His incompletion on the long pass down the sideline last night was the quintessential "guy who runs fast but is bad at actually playing wide receiver". Wide open down the sideline and he flared out towards the line, leaving Mahomes very little room to throw the ball, and he can't get his feet in despite being practically uncontested. Just horrible route running.

Joe Marino said on his Subtext that a couple of weeks ago a well placed source told him that Edwards was mad that he had to earn a starting spot and he's had a bad attitude and not given a great effort in practice.

Good riddance.
We will never know if Edwards would of been a upgrade on Hamlin. He made some big plays for the Chiefs last season in there SB run. I have to think they bring Hyde in next week unless they are confident about Cine ?

Chris Brown with a hint just now something is incoming ?

I can't see a world where the Titans moved Simmons, but gosh I can't think of a better fit for the Bills weaknesses. Despite being not huge and a penetrator, he does a lot of his best work from the 1-tech spot. Perfect compliment to Oliver. He's young and under contract 3 more years. I'd trade our first for him in a heartbeat.

I think they probably should trade Simmons given where they are and what they’ve got to work with in the next few years

That would be a mountain of dead cash to eat right now, and it's not like his trade value is going to go down. Maybe I could see it post-June 1 next year.
I can’t imagine them spending it anytime soon. The real value for me is escaping the risk of decline or injury, which I don’t think is completely negligible, through the end of the Levis experiment and start of the next one. Maybe they won’t be as bad as I expect but man that team’s got nothing I like long term on the O side of the ball.
