My proposal was accepted and I'll be bringing the work I do in environmental regulation (trauma informed space design) to an organization here in AZ that provides education and support for abuse survivors....
It's part time along with the other stuff I do. This is exactly why I opened my business--Its with my current mentor too so I'm slightly excited.

Very much so and my aunt and uncle are 40 minutes north.

Between the rising rent and food costs, something had to give. If I am going to plunk down $2k a month I better have laundry in unit, a dishwasher and better amenities. A 2 bedroom with a balcony out there will cost me between $1,300 - $1,400 depending on if I am in Moore or Norman.

It isn't permanent, My goal is to go out there for 2 years and then make my way back to New England. I'll be back at least 2x a year.

Getting to see my niece every day is going to be awesome.

Dallas is 2 hours away and flying out to Colorado or the west coast will be cheaper now. I'll get to a few games

It does get cold out there. Average winter temps are between 40-50 degrees and on occasion, they get snow too. Last December it was colder out there than it was in MA.

With ESPN+ and other options it’s easier than ever, and Stars are 90 minutes away for me, so a bit closer than Ali, and day drive options are Nashville and St Louis. There are a small number of opportunities to go to games without taking a massive trip.
