In Canada we started switching in the 1970s and it sort of stalled except for the temperature in terms of weather - everyone still uses fahrenheit for body temperature. So now we have both - gas is in litres, food (meat, fruit, veggies) is mainly shown in pounds but they post both on the labels and on the signs in the grocery store - I am sure the food part is because the prices in kilograms is outrageous!. Weight on chocolate bars, etc., is only metric, so you think you are getting more. No one talks about their weight in pounds or their height in cm but our drivers licenses have metric. We are a mess....lol

It's gold. Unfortunately because of the number of songs used in the special that were only authorized for use in the original screening, releasing it on DVD or streaming in anywhere near its full original format has always been prevented by licensing issues. Which I get, but the production is over 35 years old now and the financial stakes relating to the songs should be non-existent. Someone needs to cut through the red tape and just get the thing out there properly. It's a classic that deserves to be seen more widely.

I wish it was true but this the 3rd or 4th time shes gotten out and I got lost in my neighborhood getting back to the house these Florida developments all look the same
 
My calf muscle picked a hell of a time to tear again. Not as bad as when I first injured it but it’s enough to cause major issues. I can’t do much other than ice and elevation.

I re-injured it quickly walking across the road from the parking lot to my apartment to avoid the car that was coming.

It’s been irritated for a few weeks now but I ignored it. Lesson learned.
