Super bowl is in Vegas this coming season.
the more attention and money on/in Vegas, the better

I’m picking the Oilers in 6. I think McDavid was maybe his team’s third best player against LA, and I think he’s got a lot more to give.

Brossoit was excellent in Round 1, but the Oilers’ offense and power play are going to be hard to contain.

Should be a lot of run and hockey that will be high entertainment value.

In my opinion the key to this series for Vegas is depth scoring on both sides. No one can completely stop 97 & 29 but Vegas can't win if Edmonton can get production from guys like Kostin, Kulak, Bjugstad and Yamamoto again. If you can at least hang in when the stars are on the ice, dominate the other shifts and stay out of the box then you give yourself a chance. As a Vegas fan I didn't love the potential matchup against the Kings but the Oilers are the only team I was truly afraid of.

The thing being underestimated the most is the Oilers D. After adding Ekholm they have been excellent. Vegas has a good team, but McDavid and Draisaitl are tuned in just like all the Avs last year were and the Lightning before that. This is their shot and it will bring out their best. The weakness so far has been Skinner. If he has a poor performance in game one, I expect a switch to Campbell. Oilers in 5 or 6.

Last 10+ posts schlagging Stu with next no factual argument… did your girlfriend ride Skinners stache or something?
Next to nothing? How about 10+ ultra softies over a 7 game series, a SV% of .890 and GAA 3.43? Don't ask me to check his advanced stats. He belongs in the AHL.

Jack Campbell in relief SV% .964 and GAA 1.18. But for some reason the bum who can't even skate keeps getting starts. It's embarassing. I'm complaining because he could still be benched. Do it before the season is over.

For some reason I was under the impression that teams would get re-seeded for the 2nd round. But clearly thats not the case.

Why is Dallas getting rewarded with the lowest seed in the West when both VGK and EDM finished ahead in the season.

I didnt understand all the flack about the playoff format until now. Regular season is absolutely useless outside round 1.

I think this series really boils down to how much the special teams come into play. The Knights are not great on either the PP or PK. If the series is decided 5on5 they have a great chance to make it through. If there are lots of penalties it will be almost impossible.

This is the toughest choice out of the round 2 matchups. I didn't think Edmonton would get through LA. And Vegas will be a tough opponent.

Ultimately, I don't think Vegas' goaltending can hold up against McDrai.

Oilers in 7.

Picking oil in 6.

Vegas are a very good team though, wouldn’t be surprised for it to be the other way

Go Oilers! The only remaining team I can stand after a horrendous first round lol

The top four teams were within 3 points lol, I'd get the bitching if Vegas and Edmonton were clearly the two best teams in the conference but they weren't

ya but they were though, that's why the games are worth points...you know, to see who's better. Plus the Oilers had the 2nd most regulation wins in the league.
