So I guess Eriksson will be back on the 2nd line next game?

I'd think MacEwen draws in just to change SOMETHING up. Also would love to see Green/Baumgartner throw in Juolevi but they wouldn't have the balls with Benn and Fantenberg healthy.

Problem is we would be far better off moving on from in no particular order

Loui/Sutter/Roussel/Ferland/Beagle

Jake is cheap and has tools, is a streaky scorer he is what you want in your bottom 6.

the other guys are possession nightmares who can skate, get stuck in their own zone, can’t score, and cost too much money

If it were possible, I would hope the only current bottom six players to return next year, would be Gaudette and Motte. I don't see what Virtanen provides.

Could have been 2-2 if we had just hold onto that lead... that's what makes it that much more crushing.

The lead was bound to crumble. Marky has looked awkward since game 2 and is just gassed.

We needed to convert on those PP's late in the 2nd for a greater cushion and just a lack of execution on the PP.

Newell Brown was unable to adjust the PP to make it less predictable. Pettersson should have the puck on his stick way more rather than doing an OV impression on the right side. He's a great playmaker, why not leverage that, especially when Miller's just bobbling the puck.

Man Sutter was garbage tonight. He was responsible for that 3rd Vegas goal that opened the flood gates. Soft as melted butter on the puck, slow as molasses, looked tired as a sloth and couldn't make a pass.

I can't wait to see what this team will look like once Sutter, Beagle and Roussel are gone.

I've got all the time in the world for Motte, ill give Gaudette more time and I'm ok with Virtanen.

This is Green though. He always defaults back to putting Louie on with Bo and Pearson.

Newell Brown can’t adjust a can of tuna for the life of him. The PP this series has been dreadful.

The Canucks lack of shots and possession time in these three series so far stems from unforced errors.
When vegas knocks a puck down in the air causing us to lose possession, thats not our fault, thats a great play
When the St. lous forecheck hammers our D and we turn it over, that's not our fault, thats a great play.

There are things we CAN control. When a Dman or forward has the puck in his own zone or around their own blue line and they have 2 full seconds before a vegas player is on him, there is NO EXCUSE to send a pass that leads IMMEDIATELY to a turnover....
OR the pass is on target but the player flubs it.
These are plays that AHL players make. The Canucks don't do a good enough job reinforcing the importance of making tape to tape passes, on target. OR if there is not outlet pass availalbe then the forwards need to come back and support..
I honestly think their problems comes down to coaching.
Also, Myers wasnt that bad.

It’s been said before by many of you, but I’ll say it from my own perspective, I’m still pleasantly surprised & impressed by this Team.

It was hard to watch that game slip away after taking the lead, but I’m grateful for the opportunity these Playoffs are providing our young core.

Looking forward to Game 5 and still believe our Boys have a chance - 1 win at a time as they say.

Enjoy your night everyone

I really wish that I could be as respectful as you at times like this. Much respect.

i love motte but we will all be so pissed and hate him forever with the burning passion of a thousand marchessaults when benning signs him to a three year $7.5 million extension

Didn't we score 2 on the PP?

You're not going to win to many games when you let 5 in.

Biggest issue seems to be that Vegas are 1st on loose pucks like 80% of the time. Creates a lot of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th opportunities.

Also, Reeves getting to drill Hughes in the back leading to a goal the other way, then taunt the bench is just rediculous. The NHL completely changed come playoff time and it's rediculous.

I’d put MacEwen in instead of Roussel and no Eriksson on the first line, other than that I agree with these line ups.

Whoever’s the loudest voice in that room, make it be clear they cannot f*** this up in game 5.

This feels a lot like when the '07 team - which was led by the Sedins, Luongo, and Jeff Cowan, and not a ton else - got an emotional win over Dallas in the first round, and ran into the eventual Cup Champs in Anaheim in the second round. The Ducks were an absolute buzz-saw in that series, and I think it taught a lot of the core players from that group (Twins, Kesler, Burrows, Lu, Bieksa) what you needed to do and be in the playoffs to win.
Canucks also led going into the third period of that Game 4. Blew that one as well.
