Kings were outplayed in game 3, but they outplayed the Ducks tonight but were not a threat whatsoever to score. How can anyone expect this team to win if they can't score?

Have to get to the net. Have to start moving feet. Get the Ducks moving around. The Ducks are getting their sticks on so many passes because the Kings aren't moving. The Kings are waiting for the puck. The Ducks are fast though, so the Kings are sort of caught in the middle.

Go to the net, like Kopitar did that one time, and Getzlaf took the penalty. Then, maybe try and win a faceoff after a penalty. You know, start a PP in the offensive zone, instead of behind your own net 15 seconds into it, and then wasting more time trying to get back into the zone with some puck control.

Kings won two faceoffs on PP's to a spot where there was no point man. Kind of bad luck there, but even when they set it up they had very few chances.

Gabo/Kopitar need to score, the Kings are not advancing relying on Carter's line or the bottom six.

That is just how it's going to be(this year).

Guys like Clifford/Lewis need to be gone from the bottom six.

You can't resign guys like that (come on Lombardi).

The Hawks are having the same problem, their bottom six is banged up, having to rely too much on Kane/Toews/Keith.

Patrick Sharp is having just a god awful playoff's, that is also hurting the Hawks big time.

Someone please go to the main board and make a "Can anyone beat the Ducks in these playoffs" thread. That might be the only thing that will help cuz the way we've been playing I have doubts we will win two out of the next three! Depressing!

The Lines don't matter when you play Two first periods like the Kings did, and Let ANY NHL goalie see shots.

It doesn't matter, it just doesn't.

Coaches have to go insane sometimes saying the same Sh%^& 40540584058045840 times about getting in front of the net.

I agree they came out flat, no arguments from me, but Sutter did them no favors. The lineups were pure garbage.

When you play Richards and Carter together you better be confident they are going to score atleast a goal because you can be pretty confident they are going to give one up. Like I asked Tony in the GDT, why do we laugh at people like Carlyle for ignoring and mocking advanced stats, but some here give Sutter a pass when he throws them out the window everytime he plays 77 and 10 together. The numbers don't lie, no matter who the winger has been they have given up boatloads of goals. They gave up goals when it was Frattin, Clifford, Toffoli, King and now Pearson joins the club. That line was on the ice for the long shift by the Ducks third line, the one where Carter failed to clear the puck twice, then on the ice for the goal when Richards screwed up and then the penalty by Pearson, so the entire line had game changing mistakes. If this is Kopitar's line you give them the benefit of the doubt because it never happens, but the numbers tell us it's going to happen with 77/10 and Sutter continues to try and force the issue and the results are always the same. It almost gets to the point where you hope Richards plays well on the fourth line but not to well because you know Sutter just won't be able to stop himself from moving him back up, it truly is Einstein's definition of insanity when it comes to Sutter's use of Richards. Why can't we just let him be a good 4th line center instead of having him be a bad 2nd line center.

Clifford has been totally worthless, Lewis 'meh' at best and Duh-Wight King has not
done anything. Your top guys must produce, but the bottom 6 had better contribute something. I think Andreoff will be better than the 3 aforementioned players. I bet he could step in now and do better.

Again with this,

So Carter and Richards have played what ? maybe 12 minutes of ice time together the last two games ?

Serious man......That is not the reason the Kings have lost two games.

With the way Carter has played this whole series, does anyone even really want him in the top six ?

I'm not saying it's the only reason. But it's a key reason. The Kings are not built to come back from deficits and that line was responsible for 2 goals in the first. And it should come as a surprise to no one because it's been that way all season in the defensive zone with 77/10. It's poor coaching to have them playing together, there is zero offensive chemistry and they are laughably bad defensively.

That's more of the reason for their loss than Voynov, but that hasn't stopped you from badmouthing Voynov, over and over and over...

At this point Carter doesn't even deserve to be in the top six, he has been terrible all over the ice.

He is not even shooting the puck.

Dumpster fire all year.......

Deserves it.

I do the same to Kopitar/Doughty/Quick ETC.

Matter of fact Doughty has been average the last two games, that has hurt the Kings.

Doughty can't play average, he has to be god like for the Kings to have any chance.

The D is just not deep enough with Slava not producing.
