It's not only that line, when he puts Richards up on the 2nd line it starts a chain reaction of awful things.
1. Richards isn't a 2nd liner, he and Carter are awful together. They are a disaster defensively, it doesn't matter who the LW on the line is, they just can't keep the puck out of the net, and it's not as if they score to make up for it.
2. Moves Toffoli to a bottom six role.
3. Hurts the 4th line, Richards on the 4th line is a positive. Tonights 4th line was terrible.
4. The Kings suddenly go from four lines capable of producing to two, the fourth line and second line are massive negatives with the lineup Sutter sent out there tonight.
The Lines don't matter when you play Two first periods like the Kings did, and Let ANY NHL goalie see shots.
It doesn't matter, it just doesn't.
Coaches have to go insane sometimes saying the same Sh%^& 40540584058045840 times about getting in front of the net.
