It's not only that line, when he puts Richards up on the 2nd line it starts a chain reaction of awful things.

1. Richards isn't a 2nd liner, he and Carter are awful together. They are a disaster defensively, it doesn't matter who the LW on the line is, they just can't keep the puck out of the net, and it's not as if they score to make up for it.

2. Moves Toffoli to a bottom six role.

3. Hurts the 4th line, Richards on the 4th line is a positive. Tonights 4th line was terrible.

4. The Kings suddenly go from four lines capable of producing to two, the fourth line and second line are massive negatives with the lineup Sutter sent out there tonight.

The Lines don't matter when you play Two first periods like the Kings did, and Let ANY NHL goalie see shots.

It doesn't matter, it just doesn't.

Coaches have to go insane sometimes saying the same Sh%^& 40540584058045840 times about getting in front of the net.

All we're going to hear about is Gibson for the rest of this series. He's deserved the accolade, but I also feel like the Kings sure helped him out with a ton of unobstructed shots.

Sutter's bizarre decision making has really killed whatever momentum the team had going for them when they had a 2-0 lead in the series.

So the next team to take 2 of the next 3 gets the Hawks or Wild. If the Kings' top players don't show up, they're done.

Ducks almost made as many saves as gibson...TWENTY FIVE blocked shots. This is exactly what I was talking about when people were *****ing the Kings were boring, the Ducks go full shell when they take the lead on us. It obviously works, but god damn is it hard on the eyes (and tonight, the wallet).

Disgusting performance that I'm laying on Sutter. Unbelievable. Just had to go 1-1 at home and now the whole ****ing series is in doubt. I'm done shelling out money in these playoffs.

Quick was stone cold on the bench. Doughty went over to him at the beginning of the second and patted him on the shoulder a couple times. Quick didn't even acknowledge him.

Getzlaf/Perry is not even the problem.

My fear from the start was scoring drying up, it has the last two games.

The Kings have to score on ANH, cause ANH WILL SCORE.

I can't even believe I'm saying this but as completely ****** as Voynov has been, and with Greene and Shultz, our defense isn't even the problem. Ducks had 3 shots on goal in 40 minutes. **** me.

Don't give me that crap, the players didn't change the winning line up and chose the match ups. Sutter did them.


That's all on Sutter first and the players second.

The Kings won the games, but they haven't played well since Game 7. They got the job done in Game 1, didn't screw up in Game 2, but they haven't played very well for the most part.

The hope is that the Kings attacking a little more in the 2nd and 3rd periods tonight starts the next round of ebb and flow. They didn't play great in the first 2 games, but won both. They didn't play all that great in Game 3, or in the 1st period of Game 4, and they lost because of it. They played better in the 2nd half of the game tonight, but still couldn't put a puck in the net. You hope in Game 5, they start better, and keep playing well through the game.

The Lineup was the same to start that awful loss in Game three , lineup started the same for this awful First period performance(and loss as well).....

The same players are on the ice, What lineup changes has Sutter made ?

So he put Richards with Carter for about 18 minutes of ice time for the last two games combined, and that's the reason the Kings have played like garbage ?

They won two out of two to start the series, have a little bit of faith. They won four straight against the Sharks and you don't think they can gut out two out of three?

I am overly pessimistic but what I've learned from these 4 games is that the Ducks are controlling the ice (not including period 3, game 2). They are structured, timed and can be nasty if needed.

On our side of things, we scraped out wins the first two, riding a "coming back from a 3-0 down"-wave. That wave is gone. Yet the Kings are still surfing it.

Winning 2 out of 3 with dead-wind against a proven winner or winning 4 out of 4 with tailwind against chokers?

Seriously? If the last two games mean anything, and if nothing change we are out. If Sutter, Quick, Doughty and Kopitar decide to show up? We might have a chance.

Would this be the first conference semifinal win with three different goalies?

Probably shouldn't have won game two either.

The Second and third period of tonight was what the Ducks looked like against the Kings game two.

Kings just went shell mode and won it, in game two.

They only out played them cause they sat on the lead. I'm just as disgusted with this team as I was proud with the Come back against san Jose.
