It would definitely be disappointing. But is the season befitting of a Cup winner to this point, yes, I believe so. The Kings are obviously not a fluke. I think there's been some validation here. We now know that Quick can be that good in the playoffs more than just one year, for one. I didn't know if his performances last year could be replicated. Obviously they can.

If Quick keeps playing like this, we won't lose to the Sharks or Ducks. I believe that.

Wow, if you're listenig to the post game talk on radio right now, some creepy dude called and said that he grew up playing street hockey with Brown. He really sounded like a stalker.

Hope either he gets moved up to the 2nd line because King just doesn't belong. He is not a top 6 player and doesn't have the skill set to finish.
 
If we lose to the Sharks, I wouldn't cry myself to sleep at night, especially if it's a long, hard fought series.

If the Ducks beat us...yeah.

I'll be pretty upset.

To be perfectly honest, though, neither the Ducks or Sharks are in the Blues' league.
 
am i the only one who feels strangely confident about the fact that we were totally outplayed in all of these games and STILL won four in a row including coming back from 2 down in game 4?

I am with you on this. Part of being a championship contender for years is having that go to star on your team that consistently plays his best in the playoffs. Quick is that star for the Kings. This is his team.
 
Great series Kings fans. Both teams fought hard, and I can't wait to play you again next season. Good luck, and hopefully you go the distance for the second year in a row.
 
wasn't sure where to post this - but congrats on the win. you guys were impressive and it was well deserved.

i'm hoping for a hawks/kings WCF.
 
Wow just saw highlights of the game and man JQuick is ***in amazing! If we can just give him a a little more offense we might just go far again! We are so lucky to have him! Holy crap he's good!
 
Just got back and all I can say is thank god we will finally get to play someone that will give us some space out there.

If you wanted to know what it was like to play the Kings last year, that was it. No wonder we frustrated the hell out of everyone. The Blues forecheck and defense are absolutely smothering.
