Congratulation.

My sleepless nights were not for nothing. I called before game 4 that if Kings win that game, they'll won the series.

After advancing through Blues I really think they can repeat...

It may not have been pretty, but champions find ways to win. They got timely goals and world class goaltending from Quick. Onto Anaheim (I hope) where the Kings will retain home ice at the Pond.

Not to take anything away from the rest of the team, but Jonathan Quick took that series away from the Blues. If the two teams switched goaltenders we'd be talking about what Dean has planned for this summer.

I think the majority of this series the Blues looked better, but great teams find a way to win.

Oh and Jonathan Quick. That probably helps too ;)

Quick and the 4th line played like beasts all night. Nolan finally looked like himself from last year. I think Toffoli has earned a spot as well....

We found a way to win this series, and that's what it counts now.
But we need a much better effort from our first line from now on, or we ain't going anywhere.

Great props to the Blues

2/3 of the line is fine. Kopi just isn't himself.

Series MVP: Quick
MVP 2: Richards
MVP 3: Williams
MVP 4: Penner
MVP 5: Your Mom

I don't know what's wrong with Kopitar, but he had better get his **** together, or he will get owned by Getzlaf or Thornton in Round 2.

Backes didn't have the raw talent to take advantage, but those two guys will take advantage.

Incredible! Man what a series. I gotta say, the Kings are FORTUNATE to be leaving as winners in 6 games. I thought the Blues were the better team honestly. But any team can be beat by Quick and opportunistic scoring.

Glad to have ended it in six, gives the guys a couple of extra days of rest. They EARNED it. I'm sure they're black and blue all over. Guys were gassing like I've never seen before, schedule has been brutal along with travel. Take some time off, reset, get some practice in and come back stronger. Still a lot of work to be done in order for this team to reach the same level as last year.

WOO YEAH

Listening to DD being interviewed and must say, he's grown up so much since he first joined the team
Kings gave us all a lot of worries in this one and yet, Penner managed to pull off the win. So proud of these guys.
