The way San Jose is playing right now, I'd rather play Anaheim. One thing is for sure though, Kopitar has to be way better.
 
Kings will finally get some much needed rest now before the next series. I like new Penner. He looks like old Kopitar but sadly new Kopitar looks like old Penner.
 
That's some classic rope-a-dope by the Kings there. If the Blues suck too much to score, why waste the energy trying to beat them down? Just let them fail on offensive chance after offensive chance and let the skilled guys finish. That is the strategy of winners in the 1st round.

Fantastic win. Phenomenal performance by the Blues. Those of you bashing Kopitar or King or whoever need to ****. Can't you just enjoy a amazing victory for crissakes?

Kopitar didn't look great, but part of that is that he had the best defensive center in the league on him nearly every shift. I know we expect more, but it's certainly a factor. I think next series regardless of the opponent, some of our guys will play much better.

There's no reason to be bashing on anyone tonight, the Kings accomplished what most people wanted for this season to not be a disappointment, get out of the first round again.
 
Hey guys, Blues fan, said I wouldn't come back, but here I am. I just wanted to say congrats and wish you well for the rest of your run at defending your championship.

I think it was a great series, your top offensive talent was to much for us as we just could not finish. As a Blues fan I can't pin losing on Elliot, he played pretty great for the series. No way the series winning goal should have went in, but he made many saves to get us to that point so in the end he was very good.

I hope we can aquire a finisher this off season and give you a better run next season.

However for now, Congrats, I wish your team well and hope the best for you all as fans this playoff. It sucked to lose, but at least it was to the reigning champs. However losing still sucks and I now expect your team to repeat so we can say we lost to the champs again. Thanks in advance.

I don't recall bashing Kopi at all. In fact, I've made excuses for him
My only complaint here right now is Kings fans bashing other Kings fans. It's exactly why I left another certain site because to me, that crap is childish. Attacking fellow fans....stupid and uncalled for.
 
I was so sad I had to miss the game... but, I'm glad the boys got the job done. What a turn around. GO KINGS!!!! <3

But, most of all.. I'm so proud of Quick. He deserves a lot of love and more. He's just excellent.

This. No matter what happens now the kings surpassed what most defending champions do and avoided a 1st round exit.

All I will say is thank god Sutter stuck with quick while he struggled. Quick is a stud in the playoffs.

Will be fun to watch the next round as no team will Forecheck as hard as the blues meaning the kings should go back to their puck control and guys like kopi and brown will take advantage. The only worry I have is the blues don't really have any snipers and the sharks or ducks will bury a few of the shots the blues could not.

I dunno about the rest of you guys, but losing in the next round to the Ducks or the Sharks would be pretty damn disappointing.

Great job by Quick primarily and our more talented finishers made some great plays.

I'm not bashing Kopitar, simply making an observation.
 
Might be witnessing the Best Post season Goalie of the next decade.

Quick now has 23 consecutive post season starts not allowing 3 or more goals.

But if we get the SJ, you know NBC cheaps up once again and uses the Sharks regular season PBP.
