I think you are overreacting to the fatigue thing, you really think Gaborik or Pearson playing 5 minutes more over 85 minutes is really going to crush them going forward in this series?

I'm sorry, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth seeing a line that hasn't been able to keep the puck out of the net all post-season matched up against Patrick Kane in OT with Slava and Mitchell out there as the D pair.

The Kings ended this game with the worst line and worst d-pair of the night out there against the two guys with the most jump all night in Kane and Saad.

If you play them, shelter them, start them in the offensive zone, play them with Doughty, play them when you are pretty sure Chicago is playing a bottom six line. Don't have them out there with Patrick Kane and be digging the puck out of your net three different times, with one of them being the OT winner.

Well hopefully with last change it won't matter. Kopitar's line looked dead in the OT, I don't understand why giving them more ice time would have helped.

Carter looked ok his line should have gotten the majority of shifts. But it's over, and the Kings hard work in Game two is paying off.

They get another home game with better match-up's. Quick will most likely play better as well.

Sutter this whole postseason has kept the ice time pretty even, I don't know why people are complaining about this. Had he not done that, would the Kings have won two game Seven's and be up 3-2 on the Hawks ?

Who know's....

If you ask me the Hawks have had a real bad habit of lazy play after taking leads, they have blown like five leads in this series alone.
That to me spells fatigue.

All I know is Quick has to play better. Sure he had some good saves, but some of the goals he let in were bad, especially the 4th Hawks goal where he gave that juicy rebound. The OT goal was definitely saveable too, but I pin that on the Richards and the D for the lack of coverage...

He also had 5 of the worst shots of the game , including one where he was wide open in the slot and shot it into Lake Michigan.:shakehead

My face-palm moment was with Lewis, he has King coming right down the slot (Wide open) Crawford didn't know King was there either.

Lewis doesn't see him, and tries a wrap around down low.....Ughhh

One of those games the fourth line will take the tape and burn it.

A-Mart/Greene bounced back from a bad game, lets hope Mitchell/Slava do as well.

Yeah, when I saw the 4th line out against Kane I went, "Uh-oh."

Oh yeah, that's right. King still would've missed it high and wide.

Love Drew Doughty the guy wants it:

Doughty on his high shot total tonight:

" Was finding the puck and space and I was able to go end to end about 10 times and get shots off that way. The power play was getting some good looks. I should have scored tonight. I had so many opportunities and I felt really good. When I’m feeling good, I have to score" Doughty.

One would hope that this victory took a toll on Chicago and that they are emotionally and physically drained.

The Kings should be amped up to wrap this one up at home. Get rest tomorrow, enjoy the Habs/Rangers and get back at it on Friday.

I think I'm going to need a couple of beers to get mellooooow.

It'll be nice to win the WCF in front of the fans.

It would be nice to win the WCF. L.A. sure didn't own Chicago tonight.

Every time the puck was in L.A.'s end I put the game on mute. When the Kings headed down to the Chicago end with the puck, I put the sound back on. I don't know if I can take Game 6.

Still amazes me how Hockey is a game of inches. Toffoli just missed at the end of the First period to make it 3-3.

Kopitar rings a really good wrist shot off the pipe in OT.

Just really small margins for error in Hockey.

Ditto. I was a little (a LOT) jittery in OT.

I developed a raging headache during the game, probably due to not being able to eat or drink anything during the game. I was way too tense and wound up.

How about that Hit by Muzzin on Kruger....Man I felt that hit through my TV.

It goes without saying, but Muzzin and Doughty were damn good tonight. They're the top defensive pair both on offense and defense.

They need more from the bottom two pairs to end this on Friday.

Chicago didn't own us either. We played in their barn where they have lost once this postseason, they got some favorable calls, Quick was off his game but fought through it. I feel like the kings will be fired up and ready to end this one on Friday. Sutter will have them ready to roll.

Look at this way, If I told you before the series started. That Chicago would blow every single lead they had(Through five games), and game one (so far) was going to be the only game they kept a lead intact...

Would you have believed me ?
